InvalidProviderToken for all APNs keys — Team ID QJLCAXKWMB
I am getting InvalidProviderToken for every APNs key I create under my team. This has persisted for over a week across 3 different fresh keys. Setup: Team ID: QJLCAXKWMB Bundle ID: com.trackntakeit.app All keys: Team Scoped, All Topics, Sandbox & Production JWT: ES256, correct kid and iss fields Tested directly from Mac via curl with fresh tokens The key file is a valid EC 256-bit private key. JWT is correctly formed. Both production and sandbox endpoints return InvalidProviderToken. Case number with Apple Developer Support: 102857626802 Has anyone seen all APNs keys for an entire team being rejected? Could there be an account-level block on APNs?

Maps tokens suddenly stopped working today and now return 401 everywhere
Hi, Our Apple Maps integration has been working normally for years, but starting today, newly created Maps tokens suddenly became unusable. Tokens created from the Apple Developer backend now return 401 Unauthorized everywhere we test them. We can reproduce this in: our own code Apple’s Try Maps Server API page MapKit JS So this does not appear to be limited to our app code. We also tested through a US network entry point to rule out a mainland China network issue, but the result was the same. At the moment, Maps tokens created in the backend seem to be unusable in all cases on our side. Has anyone else seen this today, or is there any known issue affecting Maps token creation or validation? Thanks.

Control widget panel
I haven't been able to find the exact name for this. In iOS 26, there's a widget called "New Reminder" in Reminders app among the Control Center widgets(Action Button also). In the Shortcuts app, name is “Show quick reminder.” It doesn't seem to be either the input window that appears when requesting parameters or the snippet view. Is it possible to implement the sheet that appears after tap this widget button? I've looked through the relevant documentation and WWDC videos but haven't found anything.

Hi, Our Apple Maps integration has been working normally for years, but starting today, newly created Maps tokens suddenly became unusable. Tokens created from the Apple Developer backend now return 401 Unauthorized everywhere we test them. We can reproduce this in: our own code Apple’s Try Maps Server API page MapKit JS So this does not appear to be limited to our app code. We also tested through a US network entry point to rule out a mainland China network issue, but the result was the same. At the moment, Maps tokens created in the backend seem to be unusable in all cases on our side. Has anyone else seen this today, or is there any known issue affecting Maps token creation or validation? Thanks.

AppEntity / EntityQuery returns multiple results but Shortcuts only displays a single item on newest iOS 26.4
We are observing a regression in iOS 26.4 related to AppIntents, specifically AppEntity + EntityQuery. When using a single AppIntent with a parameter backed by AppEntity and EntityQuery, the query correctly returns multiple entities (e.g. ~50 items). However, in the Shortcuts app UI, only a single item is displayed. This behavior differs from iOS 26.3 and earlier, where all returned entities are correctly displayed in the selection list. This issue significantly impacts dynamic configuration use cases where AppEntity is used to represent server-driven or runtime-generated options.(The screenshots below illustrate the difference in shortcut presentation between iOS 26.4 and earlier versions.)

Issue when repeated AP connections started and stopped multiple times
We observed intermittent failures when iOS devices repeatedly attempt to connect to an AP via NEHotspotConfiguration. When sniffing the packets, most failures occur before the WPA 4‑way handshake, with a smaller number happening during the handshake itself. SSID and Password were verified to be correct. Root Causes Association fails before handshake (primary issue) iOS often fails at the association phase (Apple80211AssociateAsync errors such as -3905 / -3940). These attempts never reach the WPA 4‑way handshake. iOS auto‑join suppression amplifies the problem After a single association failure, iOS marks the network as failed and blocks retry attempts. Subsequent attempts are rejected by policy (Already failed to auto-join known network profile) without new radio activity. This makes one real failure appear as many repeated failures. 4‑Way handshake failures (secondary) In some cases, association succeeds but the connection drops during WPA setup (Join Failure(6)). The error (if received, not always) is Internal Error - 8. Could we inquire on what might be the best steps to resolve this issue?

AppStore.ageRatingCode always returns 0 on real device — is this expected behavior?
Hello everyone I'm implementing age verification in my app to comply with upcoming age assurance laws (Utah, etc.), and I'm using AppStore.ageRatingCode from StoreKit to retrieve my app's current age rating. According to the documentation: extension AppStore { @available(iOS 26.2, macOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, *) public static var ageRatingCode: Int? { get async } } "Use this property to fetch the age rating for your app and compare it with the last known age rating to check if it has changed." However, calling this always returns 0 in my environment. Environment: Device: Real physical device (not simulator) iOS version: 26.4 Sandbox Apple Account: signed in via Settings → Developer → Sandbox Apple Account App Store Connect: app is registered and age rating is configured Xcode Scheme → Run → Options → StoreKit Configuration: None Code: func getAgeRatingCode() async -> Int? { guard let ageRatingCode = await AppStore.ageRatingCode else { print("Age rating code unavailable") return nil } print("ageRatingCode: \(ageRatingCode)") // always prints 0 return ageRatingCode } Questions: What integer values does ageRatingCode map to? (e.g., does 4+ = 4, 9+ = 9, 13+ = 13, etc.? Or is it a different internal code?) This mapping is not documented anywhere I can find. Is 0 a valid return value, and if so, what does it represent? Is there a known issue with this API returning 0 even when all conditions appear to be correctly configured? Any guidance from Apple engineers or developers who have successfully used this API would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I’m trying to better understand the implementation flow for Tap to Pay on iPhone. In a partner onboarding portal (Partner Hub), the process is presented in the following stages: • Registration • Prerequisites • Operations & Setup • Certification • Launch However, it’s not clear what actually changes after completing the “Prerequisites” stage. Questions: After completing “Prerequisites”, are there any changes in terms of entitlements or capabilities provided by Apple? Is access to Tap to Pay functionality enabled at this point, or does it depend on steps outside of Apple’s developer environment? At what stage is the production entitlement typically granted? Is there any Apple-specific action required between “Prerequisites” and “Operations & Setup”? I would appreciate any clarification on how this transition works from Apple’s perspective. Thank you.

Programmatic IP Discovery for VZVirtualMachine in an App Store Sandbox
Hi everyone, I am developing a macOS virtualization manager (VirtualProg) using the Virtualization.framework. The application is distributed via the Mac App Store, so it operates strictly within the App Store Sandbox. I am looking for a reliable, programmatic way to discover the IP address assigned to a guest (both macOS and Linux). Is there a recommended "Sandbox-safe" API or pattern within the Virtualization framework—or a lower-level networking entitlement—that allows a host application to retrieve the guest's assigned IP address? Ideally, I am looking for a solution that does not require the user to manually install a non-sandboxed helper tool. Thanks in advance for any insights or guidance!

Background UDP receive for lighting control (Art-Net/sACN)
I'm developing a lighting control app for iOS that receives Art-Net (UDP port 6454) and sACN (UDP port 5568) packets from a lighting console and relays commands to BLE wristbands with LEDs. This is used in live event production — the participant locks their phone while in a show and expects lighting control to continue uninterrupted. The problem UDP receive stops reliably ~30 seconds after the screen locks. I understand this is by design - iOS suspends apps in the background. However, I'm trying to understand if any supported path exists for this use case. What I've already tried UIRequiresPersistentWiFi = true - helps with Wi-Fi association but doesn't prevent app suspension Silent AVAudioEngine loop with UIBackgroundModes: audio - keeps the app alive, works in testing, but risks App Store rejection and feels like an abuse of the audio background mode NWListener (Network framework) on the UDP port - same suspension behaviour Socket rebind on applicationWillEnterForeground - recovers after resume but doesn't prevent dropout What I'm asking Is there any supported background mode or entitlement for sustained UDP receive in a professional/enterprise context? (Similar to how VoIP apps get the voip background mode for sustained network activity.) Is the silent audio workaround considered acceptable for App Store distribution in a professional tools context, or will it be rejected? Is NEAppProxyProvider or another Network Extension a viable path, and if so does it require a special entitlement? Test project I have a minimal Xcode project (~130 lines) demonstrating the issue — NWListener on port 6454, packet counter, staleness timer, and silent audio toggle. I can share the test code. STEPS TO REPRODUCE In Xcode (one-time setup): Select the UDPBackgroundTest target → Signing & Capabilities → set your Team Plug in your iPhone → select it as the run destination Build & run — confirm packets appear on screen when you run 'send_test_udp.py' Lock the phone and observe the dropout Test: Open the app and run 'python3 send_test_udp.py 192.168.0.XXX' The app counts up the packages, they match the python output. 1 packet per second. lock screen & and wait 10 seconds unlock phone an see the numbers are 10 packets off

Could not launch app on watchOS downloaded from TestFlight
I have a app that has both mobile and watch versions. Recently some testers report that the watch app could not be launched if the put the app in the background and then resume. And if they kill the app and try to launch again, there is no any response when tapping the app icon. I managed to export some system logs by installing a sysdiagnose profile, and this info looks suspicious

macOS Local Network Permission Prompts Blocking CI Automation
We use TeamCity as our Continuous Integration (CI) solution to build and run automated tests. These are integration tests executed through our 4D application, which is properly code‑signed and notarized. These CI machines are heavily used and build multiple versions per day, making them critical to our development workflow. However, we are experiencing an issue on some machines: after a certain period of time, network communication through our application stops working, while network communication remains fully functional when using third‑party tools (for example, LDAP clients). Based on our investigation, this issue appears to be related to Local Network Privacy management. We have followed the procedure described in Apple’s Technical Note: TN3179: Understanding local network privacy | Apple Developer Documentation to reset network authorizations, but this has not been sufficient to resolve the issue. In addition, our CI environment requires acknowledging a large number of Local Network access permission prompts. Given that these machines build multiple versions per day and are intended to run unattended, this is not practical in an automated CI context. We have around ten Macs dedicated to running these tests, and manually approving these pop‑ups is not a viable solution.

NSIndexSet Concurrent Enumeration Incorrect
I'm not sure if this is a recent issue, but I discovered NSIndexSet concurrency has a bug where not all indexes are enumerated. The following is a small sample demonstrating the issue in ObjC: NSLog(@"Hello, World! %@", NSProcessInfo.processInfo.operatingSystemVersionString); for (NSUInteger i = 0, n = 10; i < n; i++) { NSUInteger total = 301; NSMutableIndexSet *all = [NSMutableIndexSet indexSetWithIndexesInRange:NSMakeRange(0, total)]; NSIndexSet *pass = [all indexesWithOptions:NSEnumerationConcurrent passingTest:^BOOL(NSUInteger idx, BOOL *stop) { return true; }]; NSCAssert(all.count == pass.count, @"Mismatch #%ld %ld != %ld", i, all.count, pass.count); } Results on Version 26.4 (Build 25E246) look like Mismatch #0 297 != 301 Disabling concurrency (options:0) is a workaround. SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene: does not display review prompt in debug builds on iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k)
[SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:] no longer displays the review prompt in debug/development builds on iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k and 23F5043g). According to Apple's documentation, the review prompt should always appear in debug builds to facilitate testing. This was working in previous iOS versions (iOS 26.4 and older). Steps to reproduce: Run app from Xcode in debug configuration on a device running iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k or 23F5043g) Call [SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:windowScene] with a valid, foreground-active UIWindowScene Observe that the method executes without error (scene is valid per NSLog) but no review prompt appears Expected: Review prompt should display in debug builds Actual: No prompt appears, despite the scene being valid and foreground-active This worked correctly on previous iOS versions (26.4) so looks like this bug was introduced in 26.5 Beta versions. I have already filed a bug report in Feedback Assistant with number: FB22445620

FamilyControls distribution entitlement pending for 10+ days — Case #102855522321 — no response to 3 follow-up emails
I'm writing this post out of genuine desperation after exhausting every official support channel available to me. The situation: I've built a screen time / focus app for students called SınavKilidi, specifically designed for Turkish high school students preparing for the YKS university entrance exam — one of the most high-stakes exams in Turkey, taken by hundreds of thousands of students every year. The exam window is approximately 2 months away. This app is inherently seasonal: if it doesn't reach users before the exam season, an entire year of development becomes irrelevant. The main app binary was approved and is live. Everything on the App Store Connect side is fully ready — metadata, screenshots, pricing, in-app purchases, the works. The blocker: My app uses App Extensions that require the com.apple.developer.family-controls entitlement. The main app target received distribution entitlement approval. However, the extensions — which are architecturally inseparable from the core functionality — have not received the same entitlement. Without this, I cannot submit a working build. The app is literally unshippable in its current state despite the main entitlement being granted. This is not a configuration issue on my end. The entitlement is correctly set up in my provisioning profiles. The gap is purely on Apple's approval side for the extension targets. The support experience: I opened Case #102855522321 on March 29, 2026. Since then: I had a call with Apple Developer Support on April 1 I sent follow-up emails on April 1, April 2, April 3, and April 7 Not a single substantive response. Only automated acknowledgements. That is 10+ days, 4 follow-up emails, 1 phone call, and complete silence on an issue that is actively costing me my launch window. What I'm asking: I'm not asking for special treatment. I understand Apple receives thousands of requests. But this entitlement request is for a legitimate, already-partially-approved app, with a documented real-world deadline, in an educational category that Apple actively promotes. Can anyone from the App Review or Developer Relations team look into Case #102855522321 and provide an actual update? Or can anyone here share whether there's a known delay affecting FamilyControls entitlement approvals for extensions specifically? Any guidance would be deeply appreciated. Every day that passes without a resolution is a day closer to this app missing its entire reason for existing.

iOS 26.4 asks for Face ID instead of Screen Time passcode when disabling Screen Time access for an app
On iOS 26.4, I set a Screen Time passcode. However, when I go to Settings > Apps > [Our App] and turn off Screen Time Access for the app, the system asks for Face ID instead of the Screen Time passcode. As a result, Screen Time access can be disabled without entering the Screen Time passcode. Steps to Reproduce 1. Set a Screen Time passcode on iOS 26.4. 2. Open Settings > Apps > [Our App]. 3. Turn off Screen Time Access for the app. Expected Result The system should require the Screen Time passcode before allowing Screen Time access to be disabled. Actual Result The system asks for Face ID instead of the Screen Time passcode, and Screen Time access is disabled.

Clarification on Disk Write Limits (bug_type 145) and Cross-Volume Write Amplification
Hello Apple Developer Support and Community, I am a senior software engineer investigating a Disk Writes Resource Violation (bug_type 145) for a photo-management application (BeePhotos v2.3.0). We observed a violation where the app dirtied approximately 1GB of file-backed memory in just 48 seconds, triggering a resource report. [Core Diagnostic Data] The following data is extracted from the .crash report: Event: disk writes Action taken: none Writes caused: 1073.96 MB over 48.28s (Average: 22.24 MB/second) System Limit: 1073.74 MB over 86,400 seconds (Daily limit) Device: iPhone 15 Pro (iPhone16,2) OS Version: iOS 26.4 (Build 23E244) Free Space: 3852.25 MB (Approx. 3.8 GB) [Implementation Details] Our application performs the following sequence for a 1GB video download: Download: Uses NSURLSessionDownloadTask to download the file to the system-provided location URL (in the /tmp or com.apple.nsurlsessiond directory). Move: In didFinishDownloadingToURL, we move the file to the App’s sandbox Library/Caches directory using FileManager.default.moveItem(at:to:). Save: We then add the file to the Photo Library via PHAssetCreationRequest.addResource(with:fileURL:options:) using the local URL in Library/Caches. [Technical Questions] I suspect the 1GB download is being "amplified" into ~3GB of total physical writes, and I would like to confirm the following: Cross-Volume Move: Does moving a file from the nsurlsessiond managed temporary directory to the App’s sandbox Library/Caches constitute a Cross-Volume Move on APFS? If so, does this effectively double the write count (1GB download + 1GB copy-on-move)? PHPhotoLibrary Ingestion: When using PHAssetCreationRequest, does the system perform another 1:1 data copy of the source file into the assets database? Would this result in a 3rd GB of writing? Low Disk Space Impact: Given the device only had 3.85 GB free, does the system’s "low disk space" state (near the 150MB threshold) increase the overhead for metadata updates or physical write amplification that counts towards this limit? Best Practices: To stay within the daily 1GB budget for high-resolution media, is it recommended to call PHAssetCreationRequest directly using the location URL from didFinishDownloadingToURL to avoid intermediary copies? Are there any permission or lifecycle risks with this approach? Any insights from the Apple engineering team or the community on how to minimize the write footprint during high-speed ingestion would be highly appreciated. Best regards

I would like to know if AWS ALB StickySession Cookies can be used on an iphone
Hello. There is a condition that two requests are executed from an iPhone to the application, and the same session must be maintained throughout the execution of these two requests. The application resides within AWS. AWS ALB offers a Sticky Session feature to maintain sessions; to use this feature, Sticky Session Cookies are utilized, and it seems that the iPhone must be able to set the cookie. I would like to know if the iPhone can accept cookies for Sticky Sessions. Has anyone experienced a similar situation before?

Background UDP receive for lighting control (Art-Net/sACN)
I'm developing a lighting control app for iOS that receives Art-Net (UDP port 6454) and sACN (UDP port 5568) packets from a lighting console and relays commands to BLE wristbands with LEDs. This is used in live event production — the participant locks their phone while in a show and expects lighting control to continue uninterrupted. The problem UDP receive stops reliably ~30 seconds after the screen locks. I understand this is by design - iOS suspends apps in the background. However, I'm trying to understand if any supported path exists for this use case. What I've already tried UIRequiresPersistentWiFi = true - helps with Wi-Fi association but doesn't prevent app suspension Silent AVAudioEngine loop with UIBackgroundModes: audio - keeps the app alive, works in testing, but risks App Store rejection and feels like an abuse of the audio background mode NWListener (Network framework) on the UDP port - same suspension behaviour Socket rebind on applicationWillEnterForeground - recovers after resume but doesn't prevent dropout What I'm asking Is there any supported background mode or entitlement for sustained UDP receive in a professional/enterprise context? (Similar to how VoIP apps get the voip background mode for sustained network activity.) Is the silent audio workaround considered acceptable for App Store distribution in a professional tools context, or will it be rejected? Is NEAppProxyProvider or another Network Extension a viable path, and if so does it require a special entitlement? Test project I have a minimal Xcode project (~130 lines) demonstrating the issue — NWListener on port 6454, packet counter, staleness timer, and silent audio toggle. I can share the test code. STEPS TO REPRODUCE In Xcode (one-time setup): Select the UDPBackgroundTest target → Signing & Capabilities → set your Team Plug in your iPhone → select it as the run destination Build & run — confirm packets appear on screen when you run 'send_test_udp.py' Lock the phone and observe the dropout Test: Open the app and run 'python3 send_test_udp.py 192.168.0.XXX' The app counts up the packages, they match the python output. 1 packet per second. lock screen & and wait 10 seconds unlock phone an see the numbers are 10 packets off

Could not launch app on watchOS downloaded from TestFlight
I have a app that has both mobile and watch versions. Recently some testers report that the watch app could not be launched if the put the app in the background and then resume. And if they kill the app and try to launch again, there is no any response when tapping the app icon. I managed to export some system logs by installing a sysdiagnose profile, and this info looks suspicious

macOS Local Network Permission Prompts Blocking CI Automation
We use TeamCity as our Continuous Integration (CI) solution to build and run automated tests. These are integration tests executed through our 4D application, which is properly code‑signed and notarized. These CI machines are heavily used and build multiple versions per day, making them critical to our development workflow. However, we are experiencing an issue on some machines: after a certain period of time, network communication through our application stops working, while network communication remains fully functional when using third‑party tools (for example, LDAP clients). Based on our investigation, this issue appears to be related to Local Network Privacy management. We have followed the procedure described in Apple’s Technical Note: TN3179: Understanding local network privacy | Apple Developer Documentation to reset network authorizations, but this has not been sufficient to resolve the issue. In addition, our CI environment requires acknowledging a large number of Local Network access permission prompts. Given that these machines build multiple versions per day and are intended to run unattended, this is not practical in an automated CI context. We have around ten Macs dedicated to running these tests, and manually approving these pop‑ups is not a viable solution.

NSIndexSet Concurrent Enumeration Incorrect
I'm not sure if this is a recent issue, but I discovered NSIndexSet concurrency has a bug where not all indexes are enumerated. [SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:] no longer displays the review prompt in debug/development builds on iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k and 23F5043g). According to Apple's documentation, the review prompt should always appear in debug builds to facilitate testing. This was working in previous iOS versions (iOS 26.4 and older). Steps to reproduce: Run app from Xcode in debug configuration on a device running iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k or 23F5043g) Call [SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:windowScene] with a valid, foreground-active UIWindowScene Observe that the method executes without error (scene is valid per NSLog) but no review prompt appears Expected: Review prompt should display in debug builds Actual: No prompt appears, despite the scene being valid and foreground-active This worked correctly on previous iOS versions (26.4) so looks like this bug was introduced in 26.5 Beta versions. I have already filed a bug report in Feedback Assistant with number: FB22445620

FamilyControls distribution entitlement pending for 10+ days — Case #102855522321 — no response to 3 follow-up emails
I'm writing this post out of genuine desperation after exhausting every official support channel available to me. The situation: I've built a screen time / focus app for students called SınavKilidi, specifically designed for Turkish high school students preparing for the YKS university entrance exam — one of the most high-stakes exams in Turkey, taken by hundreds of thousands of students every year. The exam window is approximately 2 months away. This app is inherently seasonal: if it doesn't reach users before the exam season, an entire year of development becomes irrelevant. The main app binary was approved and is live. Everything on the App Store Connect side is fully ready — metadata, screenshots, pricing, in-app purchases, the works. The blocker: My app uses App Extensions that require the com.apple.developer.family-controls entitlement. The main app target received distribution entitlement approval. However, the extensions — which are architecturally inseparable from the core functionality — have not received the same entitlement. Without this, I cannot submit a working build. The app is literally unshippable in its current state despite the main entitlement being granted. This is not a configuration issue on my end. The entitlement is correctly set up in my provisioning profiles. The gap is purely on Apple's approval side for the extension targets. The support experience: I opened Case #102855522321 on March 29, 2026. Since then: I had a call with Apple Developer Support on April 1 I sent follow-up emails on April 1, April 2, April 3, and April 7 Not a single substantive response. Only automated acknowledgements. That is 10+ days, 4 follow-up emails, 1 phone call, and complete silence on an issue that is actively costing me my launch window. What I'm asking: I'm not asking for special treatment. I understand Apple receives thousands of requests. But this entitlement request is for a legitimate, already-partially-approved app, with a documented real-world deadline, in an educational category that Apple actively promotes. Can anyone from the App Review or Developer Relations team look into Case #102855522321 and provide an actual update? Or can anyone here share whether there's a known delay affecting FamilyControls entitlement approvals for extensions specifically? Any guidance would be deeply appreciated. Every day that passes without a resolution is a day closer to this app missing its entire reason for existing.

iOS 26.4 asks for Face ID instead of Screen Time passcode when disabling Screen Time access for an app
On iOS 26.4, I set a Screen Time passcode. However, when I go to Settings > Apps > [Our App] and turn off Screen Time Access for the app, the system asks for Face ID instead of the Screen Time passcode. As a result, Screen Time access can be disabled without entering the Screen Time passcode. Steps to Reproduce 1. Set a Screen Time passcode on iOS 26.4. 2. Open Settings > Apps > [Our App]. 3. Turn off Screen Time Access for the app. Expected Result The system should require the Screen Time passcode before allowing Screen Time access to be disabled. Actual Result The system asks for Face ID instead of the Screen Time passcode, and Screen Time access is disabled.

Clarification on Disk Write Limits (bug_type 145) and Cross-Volume Write Amplification
Hello Apple Developer Support and Community, I am a senior software engineer investigating a Disk Writes Resource Violation (bug_type 145) for a photo-management application (BeePhotos v2.3.0). We observed a violation where the app dirtied approximately 1GB of file-backed memory in just 48 seconds, triggering a resource report. [Core Diagnostic Data] The following data is extracted from the .crash report: Event: disk writes Action taken: none Writes caused: 1073.96 MB over 48.28s (Average: 22.24 MB/second) System Limit: 1073.74 MB over 86,400 seconds (Daily limit) Device: iPhone 15 Pro (iPhone16,2) OS Version: iOS 26.4 (Build 23E244) Free Space: 3852.25 MB (Approx. 3.8 GB) [Implementation Details] Our application performs the following sequence for a 1GB video download: Download: Uses NSURLSessionDownloadTask to download the file to the system-provided location URL (in the /tmp or com.apple.nsurlsessiond directory). Move: In didFinishDownloadingToURL, we move the file to the App’s sandbox Library/Caches directory using FileManager.default.moveItem(at:to:). Save: We then add the file to the Photo Library via PHAssetCreationRequest.addResource(with:fileURL:options:) using the local URL in Library/Caches. [Technical Questions] I suspect the 1GB download is being "amplified" into ~3GB of total physical writes, and I would like to confirm the following: Cross-Volume Move: Does moving a file from the nsurlsessiond managed temporary directory to the App’s sandbox Library/Caches constitute a Cross-Volume Move on APFS? If so, does this effectively double the write count (1GB download + 1GB copy-on-move)? PHPhotoLibrary Ingestion: When using PHAssetCreationRequest, does the system perform another 1:1 data copy of the source file into the assets database? Would this result in a 3rd GB of writing? Low Disk Space Impact: Given the device only had 3.85 GB free, does the system’s "low disk space" state (near the 150MB threshold) increase the overhead for metadata updates or physical write amplification that counts towards this limit? Best Practices: To stay within the daily 1GB budget for high-resolution media, is it recommended to call PHAssetCreationRequest directly using the location URL from didFinishDownloadingToURL to avoid intermediary copies? Are there any permission or lifecycle risks with this approach? Any insights from the Apple engineering team or the community on how to minimize the write footprint during high-speed ingestion would be highly appreciated. Best regards

I would like to know if AWS ALB StickySession Cookies can be used on an iphone
Hello. There is a condition that two requests are executed from an iPhone to the application, and the same session must be maintained throughout the execution of these two requests. The application resides within AWS. AWS ALB offers a Sticky Session feature to maintain sessions; to use this feature, Sticky Session Cookies are utilized, and it seems that the iPhone must be able to set the cookie. I would like to know if the iPhone can accept cookies for Sticky Sessions. Has anyone experienced a similar situation before?
