SQLite seems broken on MacOS Tahoe 26.5
I've been running into lots of issues since I upgraded to 26.5 beta, spotlight doesn't work, mail index was broken and after deleting it I can't reindex my mail., after a while I get an error that reindexing failed and that I should relaunch that app and it will start over. It never succeeds Looking into the console, it seems that at least the mail issue, but also others system logging errors (trustd, coreduetd) are linked to corrupted sqlite databases. So I guess the sqlite version is a dud ?

Looking for TestFlight users to stress-test onboarding and trip reconstruction flow
I’m looking for a small number of iPhone users to test an app I’ve been building and give honest feedback on the UX. The app is called Triovel. It’s for a problem I kept running into after trips: photos end up in camera roll, plans are buried in chat, and later it’s surprisingly hard to reconstruct what actually happened on each day. The core idea is simple: rebuild or record a trip into a timeline of activities, then attach photos/notes to the right parts of the trip so everything stays together. At this stage, I’m not looking for generic “nice app” feedback. What I need most is feedback on: first-time onboarding clarity whether rebuilding a past trip feels intuitive where the flow feels slow, confusing, or unnecessary whether the timeline structure makes sense right away Good fit if you: recently came back from a trip have an upcoming trip or have old travel photos you never properly organized iPhone only for now. Early beta, so I expect rough edges. If anyone is open to trying it through TestFlight and giving blunt feedback, I’d really appreciate it. TestFlight: https://testflight.apple.com/join/6FJp6AMG

Paired Watch not appearing in Xcode
I managed to install watchOS 2 without having registered my Watch's UDID, but as it's part of the instructions for installing watchOS betas I thought I'd better do it now in case beta 2 bricks my Watch or something. However, the Watch isn't appearing in Xcode. I've tried both the latest public release and Xcode 7 beta, but there's "no paired devices" section under my iPhone when I connect it to Xcode and look in the Devices window.

SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene: does not display review prompt in debug builds on iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k)
[SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:] no longer displays the review prompt in debug/development builds on iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k and 23F5043g). According to Apple's documentation, the review prompt should always appear in debug builds to facilitate testing. This was working in previous iOS versions (iOS 26.4 and older). Steps to reproduce: Run app from Xcode in debug configuration on a device running iOS 26.5 beta (23F5043k or 23F5043g) Call [SKStoreReviewController requestReviewInScene:windowScene] with a valid, foreground-active UIWindowScene Observe that the method executes without error (scene is valid per NSLog) but no review prompt appears Expected: Review prompt should display in debug builds Actual: No prompt appears, despite the scene being valid and foreground-active This worked correctly on previous iOS versions (26.4) so looks like this bug was introduced in 26.5 Beta versions. I have already filed a bug report in Feedback Assistant with number: FB22445620

hi so i own a iphone 14 pro max and my battery life on it has been horrible since ios 26.4 and i want to install the public beta to see if it will fix it, however with my previous experiences from apple phones (iphone 4s) sometimes something can go horribly wrong and the baseband chip fries itself to the point where you cant get past recovery mode and get a restore error, im scared that this can happen to my iphone 14 pro max when installing ios beta. can that happen or am i just overthinking?

26.4 RC documentation omits Foundation?!
I just installed Xcode 26.4 RC (17E192) yesterday and found that the documentation window now omits Foundation for me. Searching for "Date" finds the date property from GameKit, Core Data, ... but no Date type. I was previously using 26.4 beta and this was not the case. Is anyone else seeing the same thing?

ScrollView clipping nav title in iOS 26?
When using a ScrollView inside some sort of navigation (stack or split view), large navigation titles seem to get clipped to the width of the scroll content for some reason? Minimal example: struct ContentView: View { var body: some View { NavigationStack { ScrollView { Text("Scroll Content") } .navigationTitle("Navigation Title") } } } Results in: Is this a bug in the beta, or has something changed and now I’m doing things wrong?

CoreML regression between macOS 26.0.1 and macOS 26.1 Beta causing scrambled tensor outputs
We’ve encountered what appears to be a CoreML regression between macOS 26.0.1 and macOS 26.1 Beta. In macOS 26.0.1, CoreML models run and produce correct results. However, in macOS 26.1 Beta, the same models produce scrambled or corrupted outputs, suggesting that tensor memory is being read or written incorrectly. The behavior is consistent with a low-level stride or pointer arithmetic issue — for example, using 16-bit strides on 32-bit data or other mismatches in tensor layout handling. Reproduction Install ON1 Photo RAW 2026 or ON1 Resize 2026 on macOS 26.0.1. Use the newest Highest Quality resize model, which is Stable Diffusion–based and runs through CoreML. Observe correct, high-quality results. Upgrade to macOS 26.1 Beta and run the same operation again. The output becomes visually scrambled or corrupted. We are also seeing similar issues with another Stable Diffusion UNet model that previously worked correctly on macOS 26.0.1. This suggests the regression may affect multiple diffusion-style architectures, likely due to a change in CoreML’s tensor stride, layout computation, or memory alignment between these versions. Notes The affected models are exported using standard CoreML conversion pipelines. No custom operators or third-party CoreML runtime layers are used. The issue reproduces consistently across multiple machines. It would be helpful to know if there were changes to CoreML’s tensor layout, precision handling, or MLCompute backend between macOS 26.0.1 and 26.1 Beta, or if this is a known regression in the current beta.

TestFlight External Build Stuck in 'Waiting for Review' for 32+ Hours
Hi everyone, My TestFlight build has been stuck in 'Waiting for Review' for over 32 hours and I'm hoping someone can help or share their experience. The situation: I have an External Testing group with a Public Link set up. The build was submitted for Beta App Review on March 19th but it's been over 32 hours with no update. I have 25+ testers waiting to install the app. What I've tried: Waited patiently Checked App Store Connect multiple times No rejection emails received No issues flagged by Apple Questions: Is anyone else experiencing unusually long review times for TestFlight external builds right now? Is there anything I can do to speed up the process or check if something is wrong? Has anyone successfully resolved this by contacting Apple Developer Support directly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Apple Support Case ID: 102846633409

macOS 26.4 Dev Beta 2 Install Fails
Hardware: • Mac Studio (M1 Ultra) • Apple Silicon • Sufficient free disk space (~35GB+ available) • SIP enabled • 4 local Time Machine snapshots present Current System: • Already running macOS Tahoe beta • Attempting upgrade to macOS Tahoe 26.4 Beta (Build 25E5207k) Primary Issue: Software Update downloads successfully, then moves to “Preparing…”. It stalls at “About 5 minutes remaining” for ~10–15 minutes and fails with: “Failed to prepare the software update. Please try again. An error occurred while downloading the selected updates.” The error appears network-related, but download always completes. Observed Behaviour: • “Checking for Updates” completes in <3 minutes. • softwareupdated and mobileassetd CPU usage <1%. • softwareupdate --history shows no record of the failed beta install. • No excessive system load or obvious disk pressure. Steps Already Attempted: 1. Standard Software Update retries • Multiple download/retry cycles from System Settings. • Same Preparing failure every time. 2. Permissions / Disk Access • Granted Terminal Full Disk Access. • SIP remains enabled. • Some system-protected locations still return “Operation not permitted”. 3. Cache / State Cleanup Attempts • Removed /Library/Updates/*. • Cleared temporary softwareupdate folders under /private/var/tmp. • Attempted MobileAsset cache cleanup where permitted. • Killed softwareupdated and mobileassetd processes (auto-restarted by launchd). 4. Beta Channel Reset • Turned Beta Updates OFF in System Settings. • Rebooted. • Re-enabled Beta Updates. • Forced catalog refresh via softwareupdate -l. 5. Snapshot Check • tmutil listlocalsnapshots / shows only 4 snapshots (normal range). 6. Full Installer Workaround softwareupdate --list-full-installers shows: • macOS Tahoe Beta 26.4 (25E5207k) • Tahoe 26.3 / 26.2 / 26.1 • Sequoia / Sonoma / Ventura / Monterey installers Downloaded installer via: softwareupdate –fetch-full-installer –full-installer-version 26.4 Installer downloaded correctly: /Applications/Install macOS Tahoe Beta.app 7. startosinstall Method (Apple Silicon optimized) Attempted install with: sudo “/Applications/Install macOS Tahoe Beta.app/Contents/Resources/startosinstall” –user –agreetolicense –nointeraction –forcequitapps –rebootdelay 30 –passprompt Authorization succeeds, installer begins preparing, but installation still ultimately fails. Additional Notes: • CPU usage remains low during failure. • No excessive snapshot count. • Error messaging consistently references download/network even though download completes. • Issue appears to occur during cryptex/asset preparation phase rather than initial download. Question for Apple / other developers: Has anyone else seen Tahoe 26.4 beta fail specifically during the Preparing phase on Apple Silicon (especially Ultra-class chips)? Looking for confirmation whether this is a known MobileAsset or cryptex staging issue, or if logs indicate a deeper APFS / volume-owner authorization problem.

macOS 26: Can’t add a new VPN configuration
On one of my machines (new MacMini M4Pro) I can’t add any new VPN configuration, doesn’t matter what I use. Trying to set up Tailscale, I get to the point where Tailscale brings up the "Allow VPN configuration" panel. If I hit the "Allow VPN Configuration" button, then macOS pops up its own panel: "Tailscale" Would Like to Add VPN Configurations All network activity on this Mac may be filtered or monitored when using VPN. [Allow] [Don’t Allow] I hit the allow button, and after a short wait the Tailscale panel shows in red "You must allow this to use Tailscale". I can repeat this as often as I want, but Tailscale isn’t added to the VPN configurations. If I use any other third party VPN app, I get similar results: nothing gets added to the VPN configurations. If I use macOS’s System Settings and hit the "Add VPN Configuration" pop-up menu in the VPN section, and e.g. add an IKEv2 setup, it ask me to authenticate, and then provides me with the panel into which to put the relevant settings. I enter some test settings, and then hit the [Create] button... …and nothing! The new VPN configuration doesn’t show up in the list, where it should show up. It’s as if I had done nothing. No matter what I do, the VPN configurations are immutable. I suspect that some folder somewhere is either missing or for some reason has the wrong permissions. Where are these VPN configurations stored? Any other hints on how to fix this? Reinstalling the OS does’t fix this, since this issue persisted across various betas of macOS26

MacOS 26.4 beta “Failed to prepare software update”
I have received this installation error attempting to upgrade from MacOS 26.4 beta 2 to beta 3 on my Intel 2020 27” iMac, and now trying to install beta 4 from beta 3 on my M1 Max MBP. I have seen from a sprinkling of post that some others have had the same issue. I was able to successfully perform the 2 to 3 upgrade on the iMac in safe boot, suggesting possible compatible, third-party app. But that did not work for beta 4 on either device. I have submitted feedback for each episode. Any others have this issue? Unusual for Apple, I have never had any issues installing beta software before.

macOS 26: NSTokenField crashes due to NSGenericException caused by too many Update Constraints
This example application crashes when entering any text to the token field with FAULT: NSGenericException: The window has been marked as needing another Update Constraints in Window pass, but it has already had more Update Constraints in Window passes than there are views in the window. The app uses controlTextDidChange to update a live preview where it accesses the objectValue of the token field. If one character is entered, it also looks like the NSTokenFieldDelegate methods tokenField(_:styleForRepresentedObject:) tokenField(_:editingStringForRepresentedObject:) tokenField(_:representedObjectForEditing:) are called more than 10000 times until the example app crashes on macOS Tahoe 26 beta 6. I've reported this issue with beta 1 as FB18088608, but haven't heard back so far. I have multiple occurrences of this issue in my app, which is working fine on previous versions of macOS. I haven't found a workaround yet, and I’m getting anxious of this issue persisting into the official release.

60 hours 'waiting for review' for TestFlight build
We submitted our test flight build Thursday night, it's been over 60 hours. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to expedite this? I contacted support by going through Distribution -> TestFlight although it might be seen as a generic testflight question. The expedited app review route seems like it's only for AppStore.

I haven't found a workaround yet, and I’m getting anxious of this issue persisting into the official release.

iMac M3 Tahoe 26.4 beta 2 not updating
Title says it all, so I get to 5 minutes left, and then the error message 'failed to prepare update' appears. I've done this for about a week now and the same thing happens. Does anyone have any insight to this problem?
