LiveKit SDK + VisionPro
I’m developing an app for visionOS and testing it on AVP (visionOS 26), on iOS 17 and 26 devices, and in simulators (visionOS 2.5). The idea of the app is random video calls. For video calls I use LiveKit SDK. At the moment, SDK the version is 2.11.0. Maybe this will help clarify where the problem is: A user presses the "Start" button, which calls matchingViewModel.startMatching(). After that, matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .searching. Another user presses "Start" and the same thing happens. Then the API returns information for both users (myInfo, partners, roomId, myLiveKitToken). When a user receives the room information, matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .connecting. At this point, the connection to LiveKit should happen. In the MatchingWrapperView file, the handleChangeRoomIdOrPartners method checks whether it should connect to LiveKit (when partner information and a room ID are available) or disconnect from the room (when the partner ends the call). The connectRoom method handles connecting to the LiveKit room, enables the camera, and runs emitHasConnectedToLiveKit() (matchingViewModel.connectionState changes to .connected, and information is sent to the other partner that the user has joined LiveKit). When testing visionOS device + visionOS device or iPhone or visionOS simulator, most of the time the video from the iPhone is not shown on the visionOS device. Less often, the video from the visionOS device is not shown on the iPhone or in the simulator. When testing iPhone + iPhone + visionOS simulator, everything usually works fine. Occasionally the video doesn’t appear, but this happens much less often. Maybe you know why this issue occurs much more frequently on visionOS? Here is all the code for the core functionality. If you need any additional code, please let me know. RoomModel.swift

iOS Simulators Fail Download
I've been going through different fixes for a few weeks and nothing seems to work. iOS 26 stops receiving push notifications
I a using the current RC version of iOS on both my iPhone and iPad. I and developing an iCloud based app and it works correctly on iOS 18. When I upgraded to iOS 26 the iCloud functions work correctly but the push notifications do not work. The issue appears to be creating subscriptions. The following code should create a subscription and does not get an error, but it did to create a subscription under iOS 26. func subscribeToNotifications(recordType: String, subscriptionID: String, notification: CKSubscription.NotificationInfo) { let subscriptionIDForType = "\(subscriptionID)-\(recordType)" let predicate = NSPredicate(value: true) let subscription = CKQuerySubscription(recordType: recordType, predicate: predicate, subscriptionID: subscriptionIDForType, options: [.firesOnRecordCreation, .firesOnRecordUpdate, .firesOnRecordDeletion]) let notification = CKSubscription.NotificationInfo() subscription.notificationInfo = notification CKContainer.default().publicCloudDatabase.save(subscription) { (returnedSubscription, error) in if let error = error { print("Error saving subscription: \(error)") } else { print("Successfully saved subscription: recordType: " + recordType + " subscriptionID: " + subscriptionIDForType) } } } Print results: Successfully saved subscription: recordType: folder subscriptionID: folderName-folder

UISegmentedControl Not Switching Segments on iOS Beta 26
While testing my application on iOS beta 26, I am experiencing issues with the native UISegmentedControl component from UIKit. After implementing the control, I noticed that I am unable to switch to the second segment option—the selection remains fixed on the first segment regardless of user interaction. I have already reviewed the initial configuration of the control, the addition of the segments, and the implementation of the target-action, but the issue persists. I would like to understand what could be causing this behavior and if there are any specific adjustments or workarounds for iOS 26. I created a minimal application containing only a UISegmentedControl to clearly demonstrate the issue.

UICollectionViewDataSourcePrefetching does not work on SwiftUI wrapped VisionOS
prefetching logic for UICollectionView on VisionOS does not work. I have set up a Standalone test repo to demonstrate this issue. This repo is basically a visionOS version of Apple's guide project on implementation of prefetching logic. in repo you will see a simple ViewController that has UICollectionView, wrapped inside UIViewControllerRepresentable. on scroll, it should print 🕊️ prefetch start on console to demonstrate func collectionView(_ collectionView: UICollectionView, prefetchItemsAt indexPaths: [IndexPath]) is called. However it never happens on VisionOS devices. With the same code it behaves correctly on iOS devices

Live HLS Stream Not Playing After Window Resize in Vision Pro
Hi everyone, I'm developing a visionOS app for Apple Vision Pro, and I've encountered an issue related to window resizing at runtime when using AVPlayer to play a live HLS stream. ✅ What I'm Trying to Do Play a live HLS stream (from Wowza) inside my app using AVPlayer. Support resizing the immersive window using Vision Pro’s built-in runtime scaling gesture. Stream works fine at default window size when the app launches. ❌ Problem If I resize the app’s window at runtime (using the Vision Pro pinch-drag gesture), then try to start the stream, it does not play. Instead, it just shows the "Loading live stream..." state and never proceeds to playback. This issue only occurs after resizing the window — if I don’t resize, the stream works perfectly every time. 🧪 What I’ve Tried Verified the HLS URL — it’s working and plays fine in Safari and in the app before resizing. Set .automaticallyWaitsToMinimizeStalling = false on AVPlayer. Observed that .status on AVPlayerItem never reaches .readyToPlay after resizing. Tried to force window size back using UIWindowScene.requestGeometryUpdate(...), but behavior persists.

After iOS 18.4, files are called multiple times in WKWebView
Since the transition to iOS 18.4, we have been having an issue where when loading an m3u8 file specified in the src attribute of a video tag in WKWebView, the ts file is loaded repeatedly. Are there any good ideas for this? Also, if there have been any changes to the specifications of WKWebView, we would appreciate it if you could let us know.

Apple Vision Pro is too costly to develop for.
I'm concerned that the Apple Vision Pro is too costly for low-income developers to develop for. Any thoughts?
