Authentication with Microsoft EntraID
Hi everyone, I've been trying to integrate with Microsoft EntraID for more than a week. I've followed every tutorial, ChatGPT, Cloude.ai, etc, but nothing works, and I realized that the problem is setting up information inside the Info.plist correctly. In the old days, we were able to edit it, but now it's a mess. I'm working with Xcode 15.2. Unfortunately, my computer does not accept more upgrades. Yes, I know I have to buy a new one, but I'm not sure if the new version will help me solve that. Does anyone have a project example or some experience with Microsoft EntraID authentication using SwiftUI? All the examples in the project are really old and usually don't use SwiftUI

App crashes on start in TestFlight
Hi, I have a .NET MAUI app running on .NET 9. When I test locally in debug or release mode it works perfectly fine, but when testing from TestFlight it crashes almost immediately every time. I have sent the crash report to TestFlight and produced the symbolicated.crash file (attached), but I'm not sure it's helpful for understanding how to fix the issue. If anyone can help me understand what the issue might be and any possible fixes it'd be very much appreciated. I'm developing using Visual Studio 2022 paired to my Mac. I have distributed previously without issue, but now can't seem to, even after reverting recent code. net9.0-ios 15.0 symbolicated.crash

How to report Xcode 26 / iOS 26 bugs with Feedback Assistant?
I'm running macOS 15.5. I now have Xcode 26 and I'm testing my iOS app against iOS 26. I've encountered several UIKit / iOS 26 bugs I'd like to report. In Feedback Assistant I choose "Developer Technologies & SDKs". Eventually I get asked "What build does the issue occur on?". The list of choices is: iOS 18.2 Seed 4 iOS 18.1.1 iOS 17.7.2 An earlier iOS build I'm not sure So how to I report this as an iOS 26 beta 1 issue?

Can't download macOS 26 beta 8
Any time I attempt to download the latest beta of macOS 26, Safari stops the download at Zero KB, with no indication of why. I'm able to download OS 26 beta 8 for the other platforms absolutely fine, just not macOS. Pressing the little orange "reload" button, just results in another copy of the same zero KB file bundle on the file system. Can anyone help please?

A few questions about allowed-os-versions and os-version in Distribution Definition files

I'm asking because it does not seem to work correctly on OS X v10.14 for the min attribute of a sub os-version element. os-version The documentation states: This element is designed for you to use a specific OS version number for the min attribute, and a major OS version number for the before attribute. The expectation is that you will know an exact minimum version but not an exact major version. This keeps you from having to guess the last minor revision before the next major revision, as you would have to do if the before attribute were inclusive. SwiftMacros Not able to access of main project XCTest File.
I have developed a Swift macro called @CodableInit in the SwiftCodableMacro module, and I’m able to use it successfully in my main project. Here’s an example usage: import SwiftCodableMacro @CodableInit // This is for Codable macros public class ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin { public var identifier: UUID = UUID() // MARK: - Codable required public init(from decoder:Decoder) throws { let values = try decoder.container(keyedBy: CodingKeys.self) identifier = try values.decode(UUID.self, forKey: .identifier) } } However, when I try to write a unit test for the ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin class, I encounter an issue. Here's the test case: func testCodableSubjectIdentifierShouldEqualDecodedSubjectIdentifier() { self.measure { let encoder = JSONEncoder() let data = try? encoder.encode(subject) //Here I am getting this error Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' let decoder = JSONDecoder() let decodedSubject = try? decoder.decode(ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin.self, from: data!) XCTAssertEqual(subject.identifier, decodedSubject?.identifier) } } The compiler throws an error saying: Class 'JSONEncoder' requires that 'ErrorMonitoringWebPlugin' conform to 'Encodable' Even though the @CodableInit macro is supposed to generate conformance, it seems that this macro-generated code is not visible or active inside the test target. How can I ensure that the @CodableInit macro (from SwiftCodableMacro) is correctly applied and recognized within the XCTest target of my main project?

LibGDX/MobiVM App refuses to launch on iOS 26.0.1
Hello, currently I am having trouble releasing an app because it crashes/does not launch on iOS 26.0.1. We have uploaded apps in the past so I tried building one of them with our current toolchain. I use Xcode 16.4, Kotlin version 2.0.0, LibGDX 1.13.1 and robovm/MobiVM 2.3.23. I uploaded the build to TestFlight and tested with physical devices running iOS 18.5 and 26.0.1. It runs fine on 18.5 but refuses to launch on the 26.0.1 device. I cannot retrieve a crash log or .ips file because none is written. When I write a Console log while the app crashes/does not launch I get no hints as to why it does so. Do you maybe have additional ideas as to why it keeps not launching on iOS 26.0.1?

Host-Only Networking and Port Forwarding Support in macOS Virtualization Framework
I’ve developed a virtual machine manager application using the macOS Virtualization framework. The application currently supports both NAT and bridged networking configurations. I’m now looking to implement host-only networking, where the guest VM can communicate with the host but not with external networks. Is this networking mode supported by the Virtualization framework, and if so, what is the recommended approach to set it up? Additionally, I would like to implement port forwarding from the host to the guest (e.g., redirecting traffic from a specific port on the host to a port on the guest). Is there a way to configure port forwarding using the built-in APIs of the Virtualization framework, or would this require a custom networking solution? Any guidance or best practices for implementing these features within the constraints of the framework would be greatly appreciated.

Testing Family Controls & Multicast Networking APIs - Educational Use Without Paid Developer Account?
Hi Apple Engineers and fellow developers, I'm a student developer working on an educational focus management app that helps users hide distracting apps during study sessions. The app consists of: macOS app: Simple "Hide apps" button that triggers app hidding sessions iOS app: Uses Screen Time API to temporarily hide selected apps from home screen Communication: Bonjour networking between Mac and iPhone for session coordination The Challenge My app requires two entitlements that aren't available with Personal Developer Teams: com.apple.developer.family-controls (for Screen Time API) com.apple.developer.networking.multicast (for Bonjour device discovery) Current Error Messages text Cannot create a iOS App Development provisioning profile for "focuser.focuser-app". Personal development teams, including "My Name", do not support the Family Controls (Development) capability. Provisioning profile doesn't include the com.apple.developer.family-controls and com.apple.developer.networking.multicast entitlements. My Question for Apple Engineers Is there any legitimate way to test these privacy-sensitive APIs on my own devices for educational/learning purposes without purchasing the $99/year Apple Developer Program membership? I understand the security reasons behind these restrictions, but as a student just learning iOS development, it creates a significant barrier to experimenting with these technologies.

Background Assets Directory Collision
Hello, I'm trying to use multiple Background Assets Packs to host map tiles. This is problematic for a few reasons. MKTileOverlay requires a method that returns a URL. AssetPackManager.shared.url() throws, but it's unrelated to the url. It will return a URL even if it points to nothing. There's no name-spacing. Everything appears to be flattened. (See Error below) Simultaneously, this also is not the case as the documentation states: if there’s a path collision across multiple asset packs, then it’s undefined from which asset pack an individual file will be resolved. AssetPackManager.shared.url() doesn't have an optional parameter to explicitly declare the asset pack you want to access, like AssetPackManager.shared.contents(at: FilePath) does For example, I have multiple different tiles I'm trying to overlay for z: 10, x: 239, and y: 414. Foo/10/239/414.png Bar/10/239/414.png And even when explicitly stating the fold directory, it appears that the assets are flattened down. As I'm receiving this error. The URL for “Foo/10/239/414.png” couldn’t be retrieved: “414.png” couldn’t be copied to “239” because an item with the same name already exists.

How to test equality with a tolerance in Swift Testing
So I can see from the documentation that XCTAssertEqual(x, y) becomes #expect(x == y), but what about XCTAssertEqual(x, y, accuracy: 0.2)? Does something already exist or do we need to write a more involved statement to see if x is less than y plus z and more than y minus z?

My app crashes and I don't know why
Hi! I'm new at developing apps. I built my app with Expo and it's working fine in simulator and my iPhone 14 as well. But when I try to run the build in my iPhone with TestFlight it crashes instantly :/ This is part of the log: Incident Identifier: B0ED8DEF-A0F0-4D0C-B3BB-3BB9CAB3242A Distributor ID: com.apple.TestFlight Hardware Model: iPhone14,7 Process: colbakapp [83024] Path: /private/var/containers/Bundle/Application/44211687-140E-4DF3-A577-CB68CE6414B0/colbakapp.app/colbakapp Identifier: com.colbak.colbakapp Version: 1.0.0 (3) AppStoreTools: 16F3 AppVariant: 1:iPhone14,7:18 Beta: YES Code Type: ARM-64 (Native) Role: Foreground Parent Process: launchd [1] Coalition: com.colbak.colbakapp [18141] Date/Time: 2025-06-22 13:26:29.0142 -0400 Launch Time: 2025-06-22 13:26:28.6532 -0400 OS Version: iPhone OS 18.5 (22F76) Release Type: User Baseband Version: 3.60.02 Report Version: 104 Exception Type: EXC_CRASH (SIGABRT) Exception Codes: 0x0000000000000000, 0x0000000000000000 Termination Reason: SIGNAL 6 Abort trap: 6 Terminating Process: colbakapp [83024] Triggered by Thread: 2 Thread 0: 0 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e4fce4 mach_msg2_trap + 8 1 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e5339c mach_msg2_internal + 76 (mach_msg.c:201) 2 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e532b8 mach_msg_overwrite + 428 (mach_msg.c:0) 3 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e53100 mach_msg + 24 (mach_msg.c:323) 4 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c42900 __CFRunLoopServiceMachPort + 160 (CFRunLoop.c:2637) 5 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c411f0 __CFRunLoopRun + 1208 (CFRunLoop.c:3021) 6 CoreFoundation 0x00000001a1c42c3c CFRunLoopRunSpecific + 572 (CFRunLoop.c:3434) 7 GraphicsServices 0x00000001eee21454 GSEventRunModal + 168 (GSEvent.c:2196) 8 UIKitCore 0x00000001a4655274 -[UIApplication _run] + 816 (UIApplication.m:3845) 9 UIKitCore 0x00000001a4620a28 UIApplicationMain + 336 (UIApplication.m:5540) 10 colbakapp 0x00000001046296b0 main + 64 (AppDelegate.swift:6) 11 dyld 0x00000001c8b17f08 start + 6040 (dyldMain.cpp:1450) Thread 1: 0 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aa4 start_wqthread + 0 Thread 2 Crashed: 0 libsystem_kernel.dylib 0x00000001f2e5a1dc __pthread_kill + 8 1 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c357c60 pthread_kill + 268 (pthread.c:1721) 2 libsystem_c.dylib 0x00000001a9c782d0 abort + 124 (abort.c:122) 3 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2815a0 abort_message + 132 (abort_message.cpp:78) 4 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c26fef4 demangling_terminate_handler() + 316 (cxa_default_handlers.cpp:72) 5 libobjc.A.dylib 0x000000019f1e7c08 _objc_terminate() + 172 (objc-exception.mm:499) 6 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2808b4 std::__terminate(void ()()) + 16 (cxa_handlers.cpp:59) 7 libc++abi.dylib 0x000000022c2840d0 __cxa_rethrow + 188 (cxa_exception.cpp:658) 8 libobjc.A.dylib 0x000000019f1e5568 objc_exception_rethrow + 44 (objc-exception.mm:399) 9 colbakapp 0x00000001049f7b68 invocation function for block in facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*) + 200 (RCTTurboModule.mm:444) 10 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1::operator()() const + 36 (RCTTurboModule.mm:463) 11 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 decltype(std::declval<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1&>()()) std::__1::__invoke[abi:ne190102... + 36 (invoke.h:149) 12 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 void std::__1::__invoke_void_return_wrapper<void, true>::__call[abi:ne190102]<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMu... + 36 (invoke.h:224) 13 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 std::__1::__function::__alloc_func<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1, std::__1::allocator<face... + 36 (function.h:171) 14 colbakapp 0x00000001049fc538 std::__1::__function::__func<facebook::react::ObjCTurboModule::performVoidMethodInvocation(facebook::jsi::Runtime&, char const*, NSInvocation*, NSMutableArray*)::$_1, std::__1::allocator<facebook::... + 104 (function.h:313) 15 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bbcaac _dispatch_call_block_and_release + 32 (init.c:1575) 16 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bd6584 _dispatch_client_callout + 16 (client_callout.mm:85) 17 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bc52d0 _dispatch_lane_serial_drain + 740 (queue.c:3939) 18 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bc5dac _dispatch_lane_invoke + 388 (queue.c:4030) 19 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bd01dc _dispatch_root_queue_drain_deferred_wlh + 292 (queue.c:7198) 20 libdispatch.dylib 0x00000001a9bcfa60 _dispatch_workloop_worker_thread + 540 (queue.c:6792) 21 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350a0c _pthread_wqthread + 292 (pthread.c:2696) 22 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aac start_wqthread + 8 Thread 3: 0 libsystem_pthread.dylib 0x000000022c350aa4 start_wqthread + 0 ... Background Assets Directory Collision
