Index out of range crash: internal framework
Hi there, I'm developing a visionOS app that is using the anchor points and mesh from SceneReconstructionProvider anchor updates. I load an ImmersiveSpace using a RealityView and apply a ShaderGraphMaterial (from a Shader Graph in Reality Composer Pro) to the mesh and use calls to setParameter to dynamically update the material on very rapid frequency. The mesh is locked (no more updates) before the calls to setParameter. This process works for a few minutes but then eventually I get the following error in the console: assertion failure: Index out of range (operator[]:line 789) index = 13662, max = 1 With the following stack trace: Thread 1 Queue : com.apple.main-thread (serial) #0 0x00000002880f90d0 in __abort_with_payload () #1 0x000000028812a6dc in abort_with_payload_wrapper_internal () #2 0x000000028812a710 in abort_with_payload () #3 0x0000000288003f40 in _os_crash_msg () #4 0x00000001dc9ff624 in re::ecs2::ComponentBucketsBase::addComponent () #5 0x00000001dc9ffadc in re::ecs2::ComponentBucketsBase::moveComponent () #6 0x00000001dc8b0278 in re::ecs2::MaterialParameterBlockArrayComponentStateImpl::processPreparingComponents () #7 0x00000001dc8b05e4 in re::ecs2::MaterialParameterBlockArraySystem::update () #8 0x00000001dd008744 in re::Scheduler::executePhase () #9 0x00000001dc032ec4 in re::Engine::executePhase () #10 0x0000000248121898 in RCPSharedSimulationExecuteUpdate () #11 0x00000002264e488c in __59-[MRUISharedSimulation _doJoinWithConnectionContext:error:]_block_invoke.44 () #12 0x0000000268c5fe9c in _UIUpdateSequenceRunNext () #13 0x00000002696ea540 in schedulerStepScheduledMainSectionContinue () #14 0x000000026af8d284 in UC::DriverCore::continueProcessing () #15 0x00000001a1bd4e6c in CFRUNLOOP_IS_CALLING_OUT_TO_A_SOURCE0_PERFORM_FUNCTION () #16 0x00000001a1bd4db0 in __CFRunLoopDoSource0 () #17 0x00000001a1bd44f0 in __CFRunLoopDoSources0 () #18 0x00000001a1bd3640 in __CFRunLoopRun () #19 0x00000001a1bce284 in _CFRunLoopRunSpecificWithOptions () #20 0x00000001eff12d2c in GSEventRunModal () #21 0x00000002697de878 in -[UIApplication _run] () #22 0x00000002697e33c0 in UIApplicationMain () #23 0x00000001b56651e4 in closure #1 (Swift.UnsafeMutablePointer<Swift.Optional<Swift.UnsafeMutablePointer<Swift.Int8>>>) -> Swift.Never in SwiftUI.KitRendererCommon(Swift.AnyObject.Type) -> Swift.Never () #24 0x00000001b5664f08 in SwiftUI.runApp<τ_0_0 where τ_0_0: SwiftUI.App>(τ_0_0) -> Swift.Never () #25 0x00000001b53ad570 in static SwiftUI.App.main() -> () () #26 0x0000000101bc7b9c in static MetalRendererApp.$main() () #27 0x0000000101bc7bdc in main () #28 0x0000000197fd0284 in start () Any advice on how to solve this or prevent the error? Vision OS: HUD mode windows
If I correctly understand, a new Enterprise API has been introduced In visionOS 26 allowing to fix windows to the user frame of reference, implementing a something like an "head up display", with the window tracking the user movements. Is this API only available to enterprise applications, and if so is there a plan to make it available for every kind of app?

How to use defaultSize with visionOS window restoration?
One of the most common ways to provide a window size in visionOS is to use the defaultSize scene modifier. WindowGroup(id: "someID") { SomeView() } .defaultSize(CGSize(width: 600, height: 600)) Starting in visionOS 26, using this has a side effect. visionOS 26 will restore windows that have been locked in place or snapped to surfaces. If a user has manually adjusted the size of a locked/snapped window, the users size is only restore in some cases. Manual resize respected Leaving a room and returning later Taking the headset off and putting it back on later Manual resize NOT respected Device restart. In this case, the window is reopened where it was locked, but the size is set back to the values passed to defaultSize. The manual resizing adjustments the user has made are lost. This is counter to how all other windows and widgets work. I reported this last month (FB18429638), but haven't heard back if this is a bug or intended behavior. Questions What is the best way to provide a default window size that will only be used when opening new windows–and not used during scene restoration? Should we try to keep track of window size after users adjust them and save that somewhere? If this is intended behavior, can someone please update the docs accordingly?

Look to Scroll
Hello! I’m excited to see that Look to Scroll has been included in visionOS 26 Beta. I’m aiming to achieve a feature where the user’s gaze at a specific edge automatically scrolls to that position. However, I’ve experimented with ScrollView and haven’t been able to trigger this functionality. Could you advise if additional API modifiers are necessary? Thank you!

RCP Scene issues at runtime (visionOS 26 / Xcode 26 Beta 4)
I have a scene that has been assembled in RCP but I'm losing the correct hierarchy and transforms when running the scene in the headset or the simulator. This is in RCP: This is at runtime with the debugger: As you can see the "MAIN_WAGON" entity is gone and part of the hierarchy are now children of "TRAIN_ROOT" instead. Another issue is that not only part of the hieararchy disappears, it also reverts back to default values of the transform instead of what is set in RCP: This is in RCP: This is in the simulator/headset: I'm filing a feedback ticket too and will post the number here. Anyone had a similar issue and found a fix or workaround ?

Extending or disabling the 1.5-meter boundary in ImmersiveSpace
I’m currently developing an app for visionOS and working with an ImmersiveSpace. I’ve noticed that the system automatically enforces a safety boundary at approximately 1.5 meters. If the user moves beyond this limit, the content fades out or the system reverts to Passthrough. Is there any way to disable this boundary or extend its radius? This app is currently in the experimental/verification phase, and it is intended to be run on a Vision Pro in Developer Mode. Since the primary goal is to test large-scale spatial interactions during development, I am looking for any way—including developer-specific settings or configurations—to bypass or expand this limit. If there isn't a direct API to change the boundary size, are there any recommended workarounds for testing movement within large environments? Any insights would be greatly appreciated!

How to Renew visionOS Enterprise API Entitlements?
How can I renew visionOS Enterprise API? I've spent so much time contacting Apple Developer Support. They said they don't know the renewal process either and are "checking with the internal operations team" - but it's been 2 months with no updates. The official documentation (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/visionOS/building-spatial-experiences-for-business-apps-with-enterprise-apis#Request-the-entitlements) says: "The license file comes with an expiration date, so you need to renew it before then to ensure your entitlements continue to function." But it doesn't explain HOW to renew. When I asked Apple Support about this, they told me: "After Apple approves your app for one or more entitlements, you receive a license file, along with additional instructions." But I never received any instructions when I was first approved, and I still don't know how to renew. There's also no direct way to contact the Enterprise API team. Now my visionOS Enterprise API license has been expired for 2 months. I submitted a renewal request, but I still haven't heard anything back. Is it normal to take more than 2 months for approval? Any advice or shared experiences would be really helpful. Thanks!

Perspective problem
Hi, I called it "perspective problem", but I'm not quite sure what it is. I have a tag that I track with builtin camera. I calculate its pose, then use extrinsics and device anchor to calculate where to place entity with model. When I place an entity that overlaps with physical object and start to look at it from different angles, the virtual object begins to move. Initially I thought that it's something wrong with calculations, or some image distortion closer to camera edges is affecting tag detection. To check, I calculated the position only once and displayed entity there, the physical tracked object is not moving. Now, when I move my head, so the object is more to the left, or right in my field of view, the virtual object becomes misaligned to the left, or right. It feels like a parallax effect, but distance from me to entity and to physical object are exactly the same. Is that expected, because of some passthrough correction magic? And if so, can I somehow correct it back, so the entity always overlaps with object? I'm currently on v26 beta 5. I also don't quite understand the camera extrinsics, because it seems that I need to flip it around X by 180 degrees to make it work in deviceAnchor * extrinsics.inverse * tag (shouldn't it be in same coordinates as all other RealityKit things?).

How to trigger and timeline-control particle emitters in Reality Composer Pro (without Xcode or code)?
Hi, I’m currently using Reality Composer Pro on macOS, and I’m trying to work with particle emitters using only the built-in tools — no Xcode, no custom Swift code. Here’s what I’m trying to achieve: 1. Is it possible to trigger a particle emitter with a tap gesture, directly inside Reality Composer Pro? 2. Can I add a particle emitter to a timeline, so that it emits at a specific time during an animation or behavior sequence? 3. Most importantly, is there a way to precisely control emission behavior — such as when particles start or stop — using visual and intuitive controls, without scripting? My goal is to set up particle effects that are interactive and timeline-controlled, but managed entirely through Reality Composer Pro’s GUI, not through code. Any suggestions, tips, or examples would be very helpful. Thanks in advance!

Ornaments in Presentations
We can add ornaments to popovers shown by PresentationComponent, but I’m not sure if we should. While working on the editor for entities in a Volume-based app, I had the idea to add ornaments to the presented views. The entire app exists inside a volume. A user can tap a item to present a popoverUI to edit it. This is displayed using the new PresentationComponent in visionOS 26. Ornaments have a new attachment anchor option this year: .parent(). .ornament(attachmentAnchor: .parent(.top), ornament: {...}) This works well in the Simulator. We can add ornaments around this popover view just like we would with a window. Unfortunately, when I run this on device I get a different experience. Any part of the ornament that overlaps with the popover content isn’t rendered correctly. Sometimes it entirely disappears, other times it becomes partially transparent. We could use content alignment to try to make sure the ornament doesn’t overlap the popover content. .ornament(attachmentAnchor: .parent(.top), contentAlignment: .bottom, ornament: {...}) This works sometimes–but not all the time. It’s not clear if this is a bug or not, because I’m not sure if we are even supposed to be able to use ornaments in this way. Here is my hierarchy: An app opens as a Volume Volume presenting a RealityView, with its own ornament using .scene() anchor Multiple Entities with Presentation Component show an edit view The view uses .parent() anchor to add ornaments. What makes me unsure is that other methods for drawing UI in RealityView don’t seem to work with ornaments. For example, if I add an attachment to show a view with the ornament–even when I use the .parent() anchor–the ornament is anchor to the volume, not the attachment view. So what do we think? Is this a rendering bug? Are ornaments intended to work with attachments and presentations?

RealityKit Mesh with USDZ 3D Model
Hello, I'm adding a CollisionComponent to an entity in RealityView. CollisionComponent requires that a Mesh must be provided as a reference for collision detection. However, in order to achieve more accurate detection, I hope that this Mesh resource is a geometric shape of a USDZ model. Is there any way to make it happen? Thank you!
