Unable to debug Memory Graph in Xcode: "an unknown error occurred launching the helper task"
I am not able to use the Debug Memory Graph tool as well as Leaks instrument inside Xcode to debug my project. I'm running my project on physical iOS device on running 18.3 version and I tested the project on two different MacBooks running Xcode 16.3 and 16.1. On both the same problem persists. I have also reinstalled the project on the device and tried restarting all devices and cleared DerivedData. Nothing helped. “Too many verification codes sent” error – 2FA SMS never arrives on standard login
Hello everyone, I’m running into an issue when logging into my Apple Developer account on the official site. After entering my Apple ID and password, I immediately see: too many verification codes sent At this point I should receive a 6-digit 2FA code via SMS to my trusted phone number, but nothing ever arrives. I’ve waited from one to seven days and tried again, but I still get the same error and still no SMS. I’ve double-checked that: My trusted phone number is correct in my Apple ID settings. My carrier isn’t blocking or rate-limiting SMS messages. Steps to reproduce: Go to developer.apple.com and click “Sign In.” Enter Apple ID and password. Submit credentials → immediately see “too many verification codes sent.” No SMS arrives. Retrying doesn’t help. Expected behavior: Apple sends a new 6-digit 2FA SMS to my trusted number. After entering it, I can complete the login flow. Actual behavior: I receive the “too many verification codes sent” message instantly. I never get the SMS code, even after waiting or retrying. Has anyone else experienced this on the standard Developer portal? Is there a way to clear the “too many verification codes sent” flag or otherwise force delivery of the 2FA SMS? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

Locked Company Developer Account – Immediate Assistance Required
I am the sole administrator of a paid company Apple Developer account, and as of today I’m completely locked out everywhere: I cannot sign in to App Store Connect, developer.apple.com, or even account.apple.com. Every login attempt returns either “Please verify your account information and try again” or “This account is locked and can’t be used.” I have never changed my password, Two-Factor Authentication is enabled and delivering codes, there are no pending agreements or banking/tax forms, and I see no unrecognized devices in my account. I’ve tried multiple networks, browsers, and devices, and I’ve already contacted Apple Support—yet no explanation or resolution has been provided. This total lockout is preventing our app submissions from moving forward and putting our entire release schedule at risk. I need: A clear, specific reason why my corporate Developer account has been locked. Any immediate steps or known workarounds to restore full access. Advice from anyone who has faced the same unexplained lockout.

Unable to Install Provisioning profile
Hi, I'm unable to install provisioning profile on my iPad and I know the xcode component iOS/iPadOs version and iPadOS version should be same or below the latest compared to xcode components. Now the issue is xcode component version is iOS 18.4 (22E235) SDK + iOS 18.4 (22E238) Simulator (Installed) and iPadOS version is iOS 18.4.1(22E252) could this be cause of issue ? If yes then when will apple release components for 18.4.1? Because iOS 18.4.1 release at least 3-4 weeks before this post.

Apple Developer Program Enrollment Application Not Processing (South Africa)
Hi Apple Developer Team, I’m a developer based in South Africa. I initially submitted my enrollment for the Apple Developer Program (Individual) last week Thursday (May 2nd, 2025). The enrollment was then withdrawn by Apple, asking me to re-apply - which I did. Unfortunately, the same issue persists. I entered valid payment details during the re-application. No payment has been deducted. The enroll button on the Apple Developer app remains disabled. It has now been 5 days without resolution. We’ve even gone to the extent of verifying our banking setup and confirming that our card is enabled for international payments. Out of frustration, I have now withdrawn all enrollment applications. Please advise on how I can proceed based on the Case ID I have submitted. This delay is affecting our iOS launch, and I would really appreciate guidance on the way forward. Thank you.

Xcode Debug Launch Extremely Slow on iOS 18.4 with Large Binary (~1GB)
After upgrading to iOS 18.4, I noticed that launching a debug build from Xcode becomes extremely slow. The same app with the same large debug binary (~1GB) launches normally on devices running iOS 18.3. This issue seems specific to iOS 18.4, possibly related to the way the OS handles large debug binaries or symbols during the launch process. Steps to Reproduce: Connect an iPhone running iOS 18.4 to a Mac with Xcode. Build and run an app using Xcode in Debug mode. Observe the extended launch time. Re-run the same process on another iPhone with iOS 18.3 — launch is fast. Expected Result: Debug launch should be fast and consistent across iOS versions. Actual Result: Debug launch is significantly slower on iOS 18.4 for large binaries (~1GB). Environment: Xcode version: 16.0 macOS version: 15.4 Device: iPhone [model] iOS version: 18.4 (problematic), 18.3 (no issue)

Preview on real device without showing the canvas
I am using my real device and the Xcode Preview which works pretty fine. I do not want to show an empty canvas pane all the time. But when hiding the canvas, the preview pauses. I tried the refresh shortkey (OPT + CMD + P), too, while canvas is invisible. Why must the canvas be visible even there is no content besides "Previewing on iPhone from..." Info? I hope there is a workaround to hide the canvas while pushing to real devices.

Apple SDKs should provide libunwind_ext.h on macOS
(Copy pasted from FB17261080 that I submitted) Hi: Apple's SDK (libSystem.B.tbd) provides definition for multiple symbols(__unw_add_dynamic_fde / __unw_add_find_dynamic_unwind_sections ), but doesn't provide corresponding headers, available in LLVM upstream as libunwind_ext.h We need such headers to write Exception-Enabled JIT Framework for macOS

Unable to verify my identity for Apple Developer account enrollment
Initially, I had some issues enrolling in the individual Apple developer program. Then, I contacted support via email, and they finally requested that I verify my identity. I submitted my national ID for verification and then received an email stating that my identity was verified. After that, I tried to enroll in the Apple developer program, but the issue persisted even after they instructed me to proceed. Subsequently, I received an email stating that my identity was not verified. Here is the exact wording from the email: "We can’t verify your identity with the Apple Developer app or provide further assistance with the Apple Account for Apple developer programs." After that, I tried to reach support several times, but there has been no response from them.

xcstrings CFBundleName value changes after building different target
Hi, I followed Xcode’s recommendation and migrated to the new strings format (*.strings → *.xcstrings) using the Migrate to String Catalog option. My project has two build targets: MyAppName MyAppNameVFSCopy Every time I build one or the other target, the value in the .xcstrings file changes under CFBundleName > en > stringUnit > value, switching between MyAppName and MyAppNameVFSCopy. As a result, Git detects a change in source control each time, which is quite annoying. How can I prevent this from happening? After building MyAppNameVFSCopy target, the "value" is MyAppNameVFSCopy "CFBundleName" : { "comment" : "Bundle name", "extractionState" : "extracted_with_value", "localizations" : { "en" : { "stringUnit" : { "state" : "new", "value" : "MyAppNameVFScopy" } } } } After building MyAppName target, the "value" changes to MyAppName "CFBundleName" : { "comment" : "Bundle name", "extractionState" : "extracted_with_value", "localizations" : { "en" : { "stringUnit" : { "state" : "new", "value" : "MyAppName" } } } } Deleting CFBundleName from *.xcstrings file didn't help. CFBundleName is automatically created again after building target. Both targets has it's on plist file. In those files: <key>CFBundleName</key> <string>${PRODUCT_NAME}</string> Attaching full xcstrings file InfoPlist.xcstrings

nquiry About the Apple Small Business Program Commission Rate Adjustment Timeline
Regarding the Small Business Program (https://developer.apple.com/cn/app-store/small-business-program/#faq), I have a question about the policy statement: "If a participating developer surpasses the 1 million USD threshold in the current calendar year, the standard commission rate will apply to future sales." Question: How is the exact date calculated for reverting to the standard commission rate? For example, if a developer’s proceeds exceed $1 million on April 20, 2025, when does the standard commission rate take effect? Specifically: Is the standard commission rate applied immediately on April 21, 2025? Does it take effect at the start of the next calendar month (May 2025)? Or is it triggered when the payment cycle closes (e.g., June 2025 when the billing statement is generated)? Thank you for your assistance!

Cannot evaluate variables in xCode 16.2 debugger
When I try to look at any variable in the debugger, I get a bunch of errors complaining about inability to find a file in a location that should not exist on my machine...
Thank you!

I’ve waited 10–15 minutes and tried again, but I still get the same error and still no SMS. I’ve double-checked that: My trusted phone number is correct in my Apple ID settings. My carrier isn’t blocking or rate-limiting SMS messages. I can log in successfully via other Apple services (e.g. iCloud.com) and receive codes there without issue.

Where is the `Metal-cpp-extensions` download website?
Hi, I really appreciate the C++ binding provided. I got the metal-cpp source code from the website at Getting Started. However, I could not find the same for metal-cpp-extensions. Is it not available or do we have to always extract it from the sample code? Thanks.

Cannot evaluate variables in xCode 16.2 debugger
When I try to look at any variable in the debugger, I get a bunch of errors complaining about inability to find a file in a location that should not exist on my machine... I just upgraded form xCode 15.2, which worked fine, but now I basically cannot debug. Who is this liangchenying?
