iOS 26 beta bricked iPhone 16 pro max
Hello, I downloaded the iOS 26 beta update on my iPhone 16 pro max and it bricked my device. After the download was installed the phone never turned on and when I tried to power it on, the charging battery logo came out but the battery was at 97% when the update was finish. I tried to soft reset the phone and several things go power on the device and nothing happened. finally, i took it to the Apple Store today in the morning and they will send out the phone for repairs Which mean they will probably change the entire phones software.

Possible copyright violation
my app was kicked off the App Store because it needed updating. i have now done that and it is ready for TestFlight. before I uploaded it, I had look around the App Store to see if there were any similar apps and I found one which just looks like it’s pinched the ideas about how it works-it’s uniqueness claiming to be the first of its kind and who it is aimed at Its not exactly the sameseems silly similar to mine as I was reading the text seemed similar to mine. it’s not exactly the same but the principle of it the idea of the way it works is definitely the same as mine. I couldn’t look at the code because it didn’t seem to be open source software databases. it is not free to download but I didn’t want to buy it. Is there a way of finding out more about its. Function and ti see / compare the code to see if there is infringement or a violation.

No calls history after downgrading from iOS 26
Hi, I made backup as Apple suggested. Then I updated to iOS 26 developer beta. Because it was slow and laggy I downgraded back to 18.5 with iTunes on MacBook. After restoring backup I cannot get history (recent calls) working. I tried to change region, airplane mode, reset network settings, change date and time, reboot (3x). Basically I guess I tried everything I cloud find online. Still call history doesn't work. Is there any fix for this? Before restoring backup I reinstalled everything in restore mode.

GoogleAPIClientForRest classes not found
I am trying to connect to a google worksheet with a service account and have added the GoogleAPIClientForRest (Drive and Sheets) and GTMSessionFetcher (Core) dependencies to my project. However, this code import GoogleAPIClientForRESTCore import GTMSessionFetcherCore func test() { let x = GTLRServiceAccountCredentials.self let y = GTLRAuthorizer.self print("Classes Found") } I get the the following errors: Cannot find "GTLRServiceCredentials' in scope and Cannot find 'GTLRAuthorizer' in scope. The dependencies are listed in the Link Binary with Libraries section. I have am using the latest versions of OS and Xocod and have reinstalled both to try and resolve this issue with no luck.

No such module 'UnityFramework' ,Getting this message updating Xcode to latest version
After the update of the Xcode to latest version, I’m getting “No Such Module Unity Framework” as error. the complete information is below. I had to update the Xcode and the O.S as per the Apple Requirement from my older version of 14.x to latest 16.3. I had no issued running the Unity within my iOS App till the recent update. Previous Setup: Unity was successfully integrated into this iOS app and running fine before the update. As it was working till the Xcode version 14.3, i have not changed any code relevant to Unity. What I’ve Tried: a. Added UnityFramework.framework to “Link Binary with Libraries” and marked it as “Embed & Sign”. b. Verified Framework Search Paths include $(PROJECT_DIR)/UnityProject/build/Debug-iphoneos c. Cleaned build folder, deleted Derived Data d. Checked [CP] Embed Pods Frameworks step in Build Phases Stuck On: Xcode still throws "No such module 'UnityFramework'" — it’s as if the framework isn’t being built or seen from my main project. Request for Help: Has anyone encountered this issue post-Xcode 16.3 update from 14.x. I’d really appreciate any guidance, updated workflows, or even a checklist of steps for properly integrating Unity into an existing iOS app with the new Xcode build system.

BLE Scan Response
The iPhone XS Max and Garmin watch pairing cannot use BLE to send Scan Response; it can only send BLE advertisements. May I ask if this is a limitation of the Apple system? So far, we have tested several iPhone models, and only the iPhone XS Max has this issue. We are not sure if other untested models have the same problem.

Experiencing intermittent volume lowering of car's audio while driving on car play
Experiencing intermittent volume lowering of car's audio while driving on car play like there is a notification but there is non. it last 30 sec to an hour. I've turned off notifications, added drive focus, deleted several apps nothing has worked. I am driving a 2025 Silverado Trail boss LT with Z71 package 6.2 , my phone is a 16 plus on ios 18.5 beta the vehicle is equipped with google assist but it was all on and working fine until last week, after update 18.4. Is anyone else having this issue

macos system error
Under multiple display screens (left and right screens), when a commonly used app application clicks "Window" -> "Move to..." When it comes to this, the app cannot be completely moved to the other window but instead moves to the middle of the two Windows for display. Is this a bug of the system?

Feature to Enable ALLM optionally via the Apple TV settings Menu
I know this may not seem like the most important feature, but hear me out... I've been using Apple TV on a standard 1080p TV for years and it was GREAT. Recently, I purchased a higher-end 4K television, and when I plugged in my Apple TV - surprise! I was greeted with a somewhat laggy UI due to input delay. After playing with settings and doing a ton of research, I found that it's because of my TV's video processing features. When I switch from the default content type to my TV's Game Mode, the UI feels like a true Apple product again - crisp transitions and the input lag is basically gone. Here's the annoying part: when I start watching video content, it switches to the corresponding content type and everything looks perfect. But when I go back to the menus, it reverts to the default mode with all the lag. So I'm constantly having to manually switch modes! Adding ALLM (Auto Low Latency Mode) would fix this problem completely. The best part? It's backwards compatible with HDMI 2.0, so it seems like such a small thing to add that would seriously elevate the user experience. I would at least love it if apple gave users this option we can toggle in the settings. Any way we can get this? I made a community post here not sure best place to post

RCS Messaging in BETA
Hi, Looking for guidance. Since RCS messaging became available via Apple I’ve used Messsages as my default application irrespective of whether sending messages to an iPhone or an Android handset. I’ve updated to the iOS 26 developer beta and RCS messaging is not available. When I check on messages under settings it constantly states ‘waiting for activation’ Is RCS not usable until the full version of iOS 26 is released in September? My network is EE in the United Kingdom

CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening
Issue with SwiftData: “no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS” and SQLite I/O error on app launch Hello, I’m encountering persistent errors with SwiftData in my SwiftUI app related to Core Data’s underlying SQLite database. Despite defining my models correctly, the app fails to initialize the persistent store, throwing the following error on startup: CoreData error: SQLCore dispatchRequest: no such table: ZAPPSETTINGS. I/O error opening database at /.../default.store. SQLite error code:1, NSSQLiteErrorDomain=1. File “default.store” couldn’t be opened. Context The error only appears concerning my AppSettings model. I have another model, LocationPoint, which appears correctly defined and used. I have tried deleting the app, resetting the device, and cleaning builds but the error persists. How to Properly Integrate Google IMA SDK for Pre-roll, Mid-roll, and Post-roll Ads in a tvOS App using TVJS and Swift?
I'm working on a tvOS application that plays video content using TVMLKit/TVJS. I'm trying to integrate Google IMA SDK to show pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ads in my app. Here’s what I’ve done so far: Video playback is handled through JavaScript in application.js. Ads are managed in Swift using Google IMA SDK. I use the evaluateJavaScript bridge to control video playback from Swift. I pause and resume the TVJS player (Player object) using a function like startPlayingVideo(value) from Swift based on the ad lifecycle. Current Flow: When the video is about to start, I call loadAds() from JS. This presents a Swift ViewController that handles IMA ad requests. On adsManagerDidRequestContentPause, I pause the video using JS via the bridge. On adsManagerDidRequestContentResume, I resume the video. The Issue: This setup doesn't behave consistently: Sometimes the ad plays in the background and video started playing as well but can not see the ad. Hi Guys! I’ve been encountering some issues while testing the latest iOS beta. Is anyone else experiencing similar bugs? Test environment: Device enrolled in iOS 26 Beta since June 9th, 5:00 PM (BRT) Hardware-related issues: • The device is overheating during routine tasks, especially when screen brightness is set to maximum. • Battery life has dropped significantly — approximately 20% to 30% shorter compared to iOS 18.5 UX/UI issues: • Scrollbars occasionally behave erratically in some apps — scrolling leads to empty areas or becomes unresponsive. • When opening a new tab in Safari, the app sometimes freezes and requires a force restart. • The Control Center is difficult to interact with due to excessive transparency, which gives the impression that the icons are scattered without visual hierarchy.

What I Need Help With: Best practice for coordinating video playback between JS (Player) and Swift (IMAAdsManager). How can I sync the playhead reliably between JS and Swift? Is there a better way to pause/resume TVJS player from Swift during ad lifecycle? How to reliably insert mid-roll ads when the playback is primarily controlled in JS? Any insights, code examples, or recommended architecture improvements would be greatly appreciated!

IOS 26 Beta 1 Bugs Report
Hi Guys! I’ve been encountering some issues while testing the latest iOS beta. Is anyone else experiencing similar bugs? Test environment: Device enrolled in iOS 26 Beta since June 9th, 5:00 PM (BRT) Hardware-related issues: • The device is overheating during routine tasks, especially when screen brightness is set to maximum. • Battery life has dropped significantly — approximately 20% to 30% shorter compared to iOS 18.5 UX/UI issues: • Scrollbars occasionally behave erratically in some apps — scrolling leads to empty areas or becomes unresponsive. • When opening a new tab in Safari, the app sometimes freezes and requires a force restart. • The Control Center is difficult to interact with due to excessive transparency, which gives the impression that the icons are scattered without visual hierarchy.
