I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type. Setup: Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar" Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins. Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents. Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform. iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed. I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets. Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

If I have, say a doctor appointment in the Calendar app, and I'm leaving to go to it, the address will appear in Apple Maps on CarPlay. Forgive if I'm getting the details wrong, but I believe if I bring up the Map, it will be available to tap on, so I can quickly go there. I think it may also show up on one on the car-play screens that shows a few different panels.

Hi, Having a weird issue that I’m noticing on Apple TVs with some apps that are by the same company. I think it’s storing residual user data if if you delete the app and all other apps relating to this. I have even tried deleting every app and reinstalling but we found two apps to be still logged in. Seams like a sandboxing bug and I presume it’s to do with App data stored in the shared app groups. I can only reset the apple tv to remove the user data. The two apps we can see are being persistent is Binge and Kayo by streamotion. We have tried problem solving this in every way imaginable but it’s Interesting that this is allowed to happen on an Apple platform. There is no active user logged into the apple TV with an Apple ID either

Based a quick research, comfort and fit, noise cancellation issues and durability seems to be the most consistent issues with pilot headsets. I wouldn’t say there is a problem here, because you can easily throw out the faulty headset and spend another $1000 on a new one. However, what if apple can profit by introducing their version of pilot headsets? Besides, most airlines use Apple iPads for Navigation, crew scheduling etc. Make it a one stop shop. Apple already has the framework for music headsets, why not use it as a base for pilot headsets? Disrupt an already stagnant market and give pilots a great alternative. Tap into the interests of a new generation of pilots again most which already uses Apple products. Come up with a new fresh look of ‘pilot comms.’ A good idea is to pitch to the GA (general aviation) industry maybe include Apple headsets with the purchase of a new aircraft.

Please make sure this feature gets placed back. Parents need a way to provide the ability for kids to watch and not watch at their discretion. The new system doesn’t allow this to happen. Are there any workarounds?

I recent installed IOS 26, with my iphone 15 as a machine. I am experiencing glitch on switching apps, switching users in a specific apps. Delay is also visible when unlocking the phone, typing, touching the screen, going back to the previous app (clicking the arrow button on the top left). When using a two fingers navigating the phone, the other finger is unrecognizable when clicking on to something. Overall, UI were elegant and amazing. Please fix the responsiveness and may consider lower versions of iphone when possible.

I’d like to create a button on my iPhone Home Screen that changes settings if I am using an external lens mounted to my phone. This is what I have along with notes on what I hope to do. But it does not work. I am only able to open either the camera settings or the camera preserve settings but nothing will toggle macro controls. There is an additional step within the camera app as well but it can be skipped for brevity. Name: Telephoto and macro lenses Check if macro settings are already enabled or not. It works if Bluetooth is on for a long time, is there any problem? I'm developing an app using beacon and Bluetooth, and I have to operate the app in the background, and after spending the weekend, I have to detect the beacon and revive the app. I can see that there is an app in the background, but the app is not coming back to life. How can I solve this problem? Or is the OS team working on something to block it? The test model is Iphone16Plus.

With iOS 26.0 (23A5276f) I can’t make calls via Bluetooth on any device. Any workaround?

So recently, last week, ive updated to the Dev Beta of ios 26. This began the very issue of my cellular data. I woke up to a warning symbol where my cellular bars should be, telling me there was something wrong with my antenna or carrier when in reality there was no problem with any of those problems and took up about 53% of my storage. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable.

I’ve resorted to contacting Internet crime websit, the federal trade commissio, Better business bureau and Consumer Affairs to file an online complaint against Apple for not complying with their Security and Privacy policy for consumers accounts! Because of this unauthorized and unknown mdm devi management profile I don’t have COMPLETE CONTROL OVER MY OWN IPHONE! !
