Hello Apple Developer Community, I'm encountering a persistent issue while attempting to create a new partition on my Mac, and I'm hoping to get some assistance or insights from anyone who might have faced a similar problem. Issue Description: I'm trying to partition my internal drive. I initially used Disk Utility.app for this purpose. The partitioning process starts, but consistently freezes when it reaches approximately 10-20% completion. I've left it running overnight (for over 9 hours), but there was no progress, and the application remained unresponsive at that percentage. After several attempts with Disk Utility, I decided to try using the diskutil commands in Terminal to see if that would yield a different result. I used commands such as diskutil apfs resizeContainer and diskutil partitionDisk. Unfortunately, these commands also result in the same behavior: the process starts, reports progress up to about 10-20%, and then completely freezes without any further output or completion, requiring me to force-quit Terminal. Hello. I’m on iOS 26. I’m very protective over my children’s phone and use screen time religiously. ios 26 does have delete history grayed out , but there’s a glitch! You’re able to swipe and delete history under the bookmarks history and tabs section. Also if you type in a website like Walmart, it will bring it up and then allow you to swipe to the left and hit the red delete history and it shows up nowhere in your history! please help me find a fix for this!! i do allow safari but definitely want to be able to check the websites being viewed!!! also - iOS 26 does not let u block apple.comunder your not allowed websites. Which means they can now use Apple Maps and third party browser on Apple.com for example under the simple weather app before I had Apple blocked to where none of this could be accessed through stock apple apps! i appreciate any help!!!

m personal iPhone is managed by an Unauthorized and Unknown mdm management team, The profile isn’t showing up in VPN Settings and I can’t remove them from having Remote access and control over my Personal Device! I’ve SPENT MANY MONTHS TRYING TO GET SUPPORT VIA EMAILING APPLE DEVELOPER AND SPEAKING TO APPLE SUPPORT WHICH HAS BEEN EXTREMELY EXHAUSTING AND HUMILIATIN! I’ve resorted to contacting Internet crime websit, the federal trade commissio, Better business bureau and Consumer Affairs to file an online complaint against Apple for not complying with their Security and Privacy policy for consumers accounts! Because of this unauthorized and unknown mdm devi management profile I don’t have COMPLETE CONTROL OVER MY OWN IPHONE! !

Hi, Whatsapp on my MacBook Pro (2021) running MacOS 26 launches all by itself whenever I receive a new message. How does this happen and is there a fix for this? I'm worried it might be some privacy issue?

I'm working on a tvOS application that plays video content using TVMLKit/TVJS. I'm trying to integrate Google IMA SDK to show pre-roll, mid-roll, and post-roll ads in my app. Here’s what I’ve done so far: Video playback is handled through JavaScript in application.js. Ads are managed in Swift using Google IMA SDK. I use the evaluateJavaScript bridge to control video playback from Swift. I pause and resume the TVJS player (Player object) using a function like startPlayingVideo(value) from Swift based on the ad lifecycle. Current Flow: When the video is about to start, I call loadAds() from JS. This presents a Swift ViewController that handles IMA ad requests. On adsManagerDidRequestContentPause, I pause the video using JS via the bridge. On adsManagerDidRequestContentResume, I resume the video. The Issue: This setup doesn't behave consistently: Sometimes the ad plays in the background and video started playing as well but can not see the ad. I found a glitch when you click on Phone and contacts the search bar is gone. You have to from the Home page click on contacts and the search bar is there.

The Apple logo and progress bar appear, and the progress bar gets about halfway through when the screen disappears, then reappears with the Apple logo and progress bar, and then eventually the progress bar just disappears, and only the Apple logo appears. After staring at that for an hour, I gave up and restored iOS 18.5. I made three attempts with Beta 1 and one attempt with Beta 2 and had the same results.

Hi all, First time poster :) I am interested to understand if it is possible to set a notification alert within an application. I am building an application on internet connectivity health but want users to be able to choose a time when the notification is audible or silent. (appreciate you can set the device to a status where notifications are silenced) Within the application if they choose to be alerted to critical alerts, I would like them to be able to choose a time period when the alerts should be silent or when they should be audible. Who wants alert on your internet at 2am when Maintenace windows open up? Cheers Dan

So recently, last week, ive updated to the Dev Beta of ios 26. This began the very issue of my cellular data. I woke up to a warning symbol where my cellular bars should be, telling me there was something wrong with my antenna or carrier when in reality there was no problem with any of those problems and took up about 53% of my storage. This is absolutely insane and unacceptable.

There is no option in the contacts through the phone selection to search contacts. You have to go into the actual contacts app to do that now

I'm running into issues with iOS respecting the HTTP 410 "Gone" response type. Setup: Using the native iOS Calendar app, add a new subscription calendar. "Add Subscription Calendar" Add the URL of a ICS calendar subscription that you control, e.g. https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics Make sure to select the "Account" option and choose "On My iPhone/iPad". Set the query amount to 15 mins. Calendar events show as expected, device queries the latest updates from the server every 15 minutes. Server returns HTTP 200 with the .ics contents. Now, assume there is a need for the feed to end - maybe the user unsubscribed to mywebsite.com. There is currently no way for the mywebsite.com server / response to tell the device the feed has ended and it should stop requesting. If the user forgets to go to calendar and manually unsubscribe the device will continually ping the server every 15 minutes indefinitely. It's turning into a virtual DoS for my platform. iOS should respect the HTTP 410 "Gone" header or something similar. If the server returns a HTTP 410 response code for https://mywebsite.com/userfeeds/23/cal.ics X amount of times, the feed should be automatically removed. I've opened several tickets over the last 3 years and have not even had a status change on the tickets. Does anyone know how to resolve this or a work around?

In the software update in the settings if I open the software update, which is showing that could not update because I accidentally turned off the beta updates and it is showing error or something

How long was it between putting your first app on the App Store (that had a paid component to it like IAPs) and getting your first sale? I’ve encountered a consistent UI rendering issue in the macOS 26.0 (25A5295e) beta on my MacBook Pro 14-inch (2021) with Apple M1 Max, 64GB RAM. When opening System Settings > Keyboard > Japanese Input Method settings, the settings pane is visually clipped and scroll behavior is broken. The upper section (including checkboxes like “Windows-style key behavior”) becomes partially hidden. Although I can scroll momentarily to reveal the top, the view quickly snaps back, preventing any interaction with those upper settings. Steps to Reproduce: Open System Settings. Go to “Keyboard” and scroll down to Japanese input settings. Observe that the top section is cut off and cannot be interacted with. Attempting to resize the window or enable full-screen mode does not resolve the issue. It would be appreciated if the UI could be fixed to allow proper access to all input method settings, possibly by enforcing proper scroll containment or minimum height for the pane. Thank you.
