I'm working on an iOS/iPadOS app and need to determine programmatically whether the device is a Shared iPad as configured through Apple School Manager (ASM). Shared iPads allow multiple users to sign in with Managed Apple IDs and are typically used in educational environments. I want to identify this configuration at runtime within my app. I’ve looked into UIDevice, NSProcessInfo, and MDM-related APIs but haven't found a reliable way to detect whether the current device is a Shared iPad. Is there an API or method to check if the current iPad is configured as a Shared iPad (via ASM)? Any guidance or code examples would be appreciated.

When i say “forgot password” in the app store it allows me to reset with passcode but when i enter the passcode it’s different than the one i enter when i unlock the phone. what would cause this issue?

Hi Everybody knows about how this kind of files works. My issue is about trying to load data from these files to a HTML page. Everything works, I can read and use this data on my project however the records I have in Numbers, text where there are commas for punctuation, will be separated when this file is loaded. The comma is breaking the records, I know this is a CSV file but is there a way to set semicolon as delimiter on Mac or Numbers to be able to use the comma in my records without any issue? Also could be another symbol, but definitely I need the commas. thank you!

Hi everyone, Since updating my iPhone 13 Pro to iOS 26, the device stopped charging and is not recognized by my Mac when connected via USB-C to Lightning cable. I’ve run extensive diagnostics: • Tried multiple USB-C cables and ports on the Mac — all work with other iPhones and devices. • The iPhone charges fine using a wall charger. • It also works perfectly with USB-A to Lightning cables — charges and appears in Finder. • I performed a full DFU restore and downgrade to iOS 18, without restoring from backup — the issue persists. • Interestingly, the iPhone is detected by the Mac in DFU mode via USB-C, which suggests the USB-C port is physically fine. This leads me to believe the issue is with the USB-C stack in normal iOS runtime, possibly triggered or corrupted by the iOS 26 update. It’s not hardware-related, as data and power lines work in DFU, and USB-A connections work normally. Has anyone else experienced this? Is there any way to fully reset or reflash the USB-C firmware at a lower level than DFU? Or does this require AST2-level diagnostics from Apple? Thanks in advance!

I'm near my wit's end. My school district's developer application has been "pending" for nearly 4 months. Every time I call, which is every couple of weeks or so, I'm told the department reviewing the application cannot be contacted and that they will "escalate it." Apparently, this other department doesn't even have a phone number. Does anyone have any idea why it would be taking this long? They have all our documentation. Absolutely zero communication unless I call. PLEASE HELP!

My airpods seem to disconnect during phone calls but work fine when i hang up. Ive tried restarting them and disconnecting and reconnecting them. I’ve disconnected all other bluetooth options. Any help would be appreciate.

Hi everyone, After updating to iOS 26 Developer Preview on my iPhone, I’m experiencing a repeated issue with certain third-party apps. ⸻ -Issue details: • The apps open as if freshly installed, showing the onboarding or login screen each time • User session is completely lost (no saved login or data) • Around 10 seconds after launch, the app automatically closes • It disappears from the app switcher (not just backgrounded) • This happens every time, with no crash message or error shown ⸻ -What I’ve tried: • Reinstalled the apps • Restarted the device • Toggled Face ID, Background App Refresh, etc. • Confirmed I’m running the latest iOS 26 Developer Preview build ➡️ Problem still occurs exactly the same way ⸻ -Feedback status: I submitted a report via Feedback Assistant with a screen recording and full reproduction steps. After updating to another beta of High Sierra, my internal hard drive became read-only somehow. I have a user home directory on that and many things have stopped working. I tried re-installing the OS, but it didn't help. I'm out of options by now. Anyone has ideas how can I fix that?
