I‘m getting tired of having to reinstall apps because of the amount of datas. I deleted alot of photos. Deleted apps. The thing that gets my storage full is the System data. I searched up for tutorials, it was full with clearing safari history or deleting old messages, offloading apps. I did them all, none of them decreased my system data and its at 12GB while my phone‘s GB is only up to 64GB. I use IOS 16 Iphone 11. Can someone help?

About a month ago (somewhere around the release of iOS 18.4.1 and MacOS 15.4.1) I started having issues with the iPhone Mirroring app, saying that it's unable to connect to iPhone, although it worked seamlessly before. Just downloaded the IOS 26 beta software to my Iphone 15 128gb and during the second phase of installation of the update (when the phone start rebooting a few time) my iphone showed the display of low battery with the time displayed on the top left corner of the screen, even though my Iphone was pluged in during the full time of the install and had more than 50% of battery before launching the installation. So far-here is what i know: I wouldn't be able to confirm if the install was successfull or not i tried forced reboot a few time but i keep landing on the low battery page some other people are experiencing the same problem as i am as i could confirm on the reddit dedicated to the IOS26beta page

The Uber Driver app is able to get background location and there’s no way to turn it off from settings. Unlike other apps where there’s always an option to turn off background location from settings. Is this a bug or special treatment for big companies? this matters to me because we’re in a similar business but our app has to request background permissions, explicitly. I am attaching both of the screenshots here for you to compare and see. Please note that I verified personally that Uber Driver app is able to get background location.

I have an idea for an app for awhile (5+ years) and it took awhile (a year or more to figure out how to develop on - I know C/C++/FORTRAN, started in the punch card era). I ended up using the MacBook I had, some books and chatGPT and plunged into development. BTW this was all happening while I'm retired, included moving to FL from MD. There are times where development stops for months at a time, I've started and stopped at least four or five times on different portions of the project. I've realized that I can actually skip the user interface until the end if ever. At the beginning of code development, I did little more that "Hello world" programs to get my feet wet. Golf, pickleball, doctor appointments, etc. interrupts development. When I get back to it, my code has "disappeared", I open Xcode, open the project and I don't see any of my code - where did it go? I did find the code using the Finder in Directory/projname/projname/ContentView.swift (I'm not sure why projname is duplicated, no doubt my ignorance!) - so the code is still present, somewhere!

What’s happening: In some VoIP calls between two users (let’s say A and B), B can’t hear A’s voice, but A can still hear B just fine. Users who experience this issue typically have other voice or conferencing apps installed and actively use them. Hello all. I am currently developing a database app of particular products for people who collect this item. Let's say model airplanes. People can look at their list of model airplanes and also see a collection of airplanes by model companies. I want to offer a link from a product in my app to a local retailer's website who sells this product on their website. Not just their base site, but directly to the products page. Meaning each product in my database will have a unique link to an external product page. This could also include links to Ebay or Amazon if local retailer doesn't sell the product. Is this sort of feature allowed inside App Store Apps as technically it's not an in-app purchase? I do see some vague answers around but none that target this specific circumstance. I just upgraded to iOS 26.0 Now when I use car play, the text messages do not show up, only the notification tone on my phone alarms. So now when I get texts while driving, I need to read my phone to read the text. I tried all the solutions within settings but this is a BIG DRAWBACK compared to the old iOS.

I have an iPhone 12 mini and I am currently using it as a modem for my router. Previously it was running iOS 14, but the DHCP on iOS 14 doesn't work and Apple didn't fix it until iOS 15. Recently I upgraded the system to iOS 18.4 to get DHCP back, but I got a bigger problem. The iPhone will restart itself after 3 days, and then I just lost internet connection. The hotspot will not be turned on until I climbed on my bookshelf to unlock my phone. After I googled it, I found that it is a feature that Apple introduced in iOS 18.1. While I couldn't find any setting to turn it off. If this cannot be controlled by the user, then it is anyway a BUG than a feature.

I'm trying to make my own MDM server and I'm having trouble allowing nginx to proxy the connection. The web app I'm making can accept http requests so I require nginx. I'm using a certificate from letsencrypt. Every time I try to enroll a phone it instantly rejects at nginx. I have tried multiple cipher options in nginx.
