Problem with Family sharing on live build.
Hello, Our app supports family sharing skus, we successfully ran tests on family sharing features in sandbox, we noticed the feature does not work on live builds. The family member (child account) do see the subscription as "Shared with you". We attempted to restore multiple time and there is nothing to restore.

IAPs after rejection
Hi everyone, After my app was initially rejected, all my IAPs now show the status “Developer Action Needed.” There’s nothing I need to change on them — they were just returned because it was the first submission and the app itself was rejected. Do I need to do anything with the IAPs before I resubmit, or will they still be attached and reviewed automatically with the next binary? I’ve seen conflicting answers, so I’d like to confirm the correct process. Thanks, Cris

(verifyreceipt) I cannot verify from the server whether the user's iap payment is successful or not
I have three questions about verify receipt I use this api (https://buy.itunes.apple.com/verifyReceipt)to verify receipt is success or not. But since last month, this interface has started to return an error(21002). I see this document (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/verifyreceipt) say its Deprecated. My question is, is the error suddenly returned recently because the interface has been deprecated or for some other reason? (I haven't modified my code about this recently) 2. I can not understand this document: (https://developer.apple.com/documentation/appstorereceipts/validating_receipts_on_the_device) Does this mean that in the new version, as long as the app returns a payment success (purchaseDetails.status == PurchaseStatus.purchased), the payment is guaranteed to be successful, and my server does not need to request payment result verification from Apple's server? 3. I try to use this (https://github.com/apple/app-store-server-library-java) to get TransactionInfo, but I dont konw to get Transaction status to know is success or not. my java server code : AppStoreServerAPIClient client = new AppStoreServerAPIClient(encodedKey, keyId, issuerId, bundleId, environment); TransactionInfoResponse response = client.getTransactionInfo(transactionId); (bug i can note get transaction status, how do i konw this Transaction is success or not)

Planned user flow: User taps the “Cancel Subscription” button Display a “Wait a moment!” screen showing how much the user has enjoyed BFLIX content (to encourage retention) User taps “Proceed to Cancel” Collect cancellation reason from the user Redirect the user to the Apple subscription management page to complete cancellation Can this flow be implemented under Apple’s current in-app purchase and App Store Review guidelines?

StoreKit returns restored for SKUs marked Consumable (no purchase sheet); Flutter in_app_purchase + SK2
What platform are you targeting? And what version? iOS, testing in Sandbox on a physical device. What version of Xcode are you using? [Xcode __] What version of the OS are you testing on? iOS 18 on iPhone 15 pro. What specific API are you using? StoreKit 2 via Flutter’s in_app_purchase plugin (Dart), which uses in_app_purchase_storekit under the hood. What are the exact steps you took? In App Store Connect, I created several Consumable IAPs (status “Ready to Submit”). Example product IDs: USD3.99TenMinuteCoffeePlan (Consumable) USD24.99OneHourDinnerPlan (Consumable) USD14.99InviteAFriendAsGenie (Consumable) Signed in as a Sandbox tester on device (Settings → App Store → Sandbox Account). App queries products with InAppPurchase.instance.queryProductDetails(ids) — products load successfully. Call buyConsumable(purchaseParam: PurchaseParam(productDetails: ...)). Listen to purchaseStream and log PurchaseDetails. If something failed, what are the symptoms? The purchase sheet often does not appear. The purchase stream reports PurchaseStatus.restored, immediately, for SKUs that are marked Consumable. Besides creating brand-new product IDs and/or resetting the Sandbox tester’s purchase history, is there any other recommended way to clear this state? In app purchase related doubts
My app offers auto renewable subscriptions, I have couple of questions regarding how to model the subscriptions at server side, Is originalTransactionId will ever change for a subscription? Will it stay same in case of subscription upgrade/downgrade/crossgrade? If it changes on product change then how do i keep track that the subscription was a continuous subscription and not a new one? Is the webhook payload contains any identifier of which apple account purchase the subscription? I am having issues maintaining sync between the app account's current subscription and the local apple account's subscription, is there any doc regarding this? Will be really helpful

App Store Server Notification implementation in multiple environments
Hey everyone, We're looking for the best way to handle App Store Server Notifications in our development setup and would appreciate some guidance. Our Setup: We use a single App Store Connect account for development, which supports multiple environments (e.g., staging1, staging2). Our production app lives in a separate account, so that's not an issue. The Challenge: We have only one configurable sandbox notification URL. This makes it difficult to route notifications to the correct development server (staging1 vs. staging2 vs developments) when a sandbox event occurs. We're considering using a proxy server to catch all notifications and then forward them to the appropriate environment. However, we're not sure how to determine the correct destination. Our Questions: What's the recommended approach for managing a single sandbox notification URL across multiple development environments? If a proxy is the best method, which parameter in the responseBodyV2 payload should we use to route the notification? How can we differentiate between our various dev environments? Is it possible to add custom properties to the App Store Server Notification V2 body to facilitate routing? Any advice or best practices you've implemented would be greatly appreciated.

IAP working in StoreKitTest on XCODE but not in TestFlight – shows mapped error "Product not available"
Hey everyone, I'm currently preparing an older iOS app for App Store release that includes a non-consumable In‑App Purchase using StoreKit 2. Everything works perfectly in the StoreKitTest environment inside Xcode – the product loads, the purchase flow runs, the transaction verifies. However, when I run the same app through TestFlight, I always get the error: ❌ Product not available - mapped to Here’s what I’ve already checked: ✅ The product ID is correct and matches what’s in App Store Connect (case-sensitive). ✅ The IAP is created in App Store Connect and includes: Title Product ID Price Tier Screenshot for review ✅ The App Store "Paid Applications" agreement is active. ✅ The app is using the correct bundle ID. ✅ I'm using Product.products(for: [productID]) from StoreKit 2. ✅ I’ve implemented fallback and retry logic (e.g. reload after delay). ✅ All IAP logic is wrapped in @MainActor and async-safe. As the App got Rejected on Review, the IAP is also now in the Rejected Status. Now the IAP shows status: 🟠 "Developer Action Required" And App Review rejected the IAP with the message: "Your first In‑App Purchase must be submitted together with a new app version." But if I add the App to the Test again and therefore the IAP, then the app will get Rejected again for App Completeness, IAP does not work... Not receiving Sandbox Server-to-Server Notifications for In-App Purchases (App Store Server Notifications v2)
I’m testing auto-renewable subscription purchases in the sandbox environment. When I buy a subscription package using a sandbox test user, I don’t receive any Apple Server Notifications from the sandbox. However, when I use the Request Test Notification option in App Store Connect, the notification is received successfully. My sandbox server notification URL is configured correctly and publicly accessible. I also call finishTransaction() after purchase. It looks like sandbox purchase notifications are not being sent, even though the test notification works fine.

'Invalid value for purchase intake' error
Hello, I recently saw this error from StoreKit in the Console - 'Invalid value for purchase intake' - while debugging a SKPayment subscription issue (where a valid receipt should be verified and restored, but isn't for one user). I haven't been able to find any documentation about this message and wondered if it was related at all. There were two other logs from StoreKit right before saying: 'Found 3 products in receipt with ID' 'Processing ad attribution purchase intake' Does anyone know what 'invalid value for purchase intake' is referencing? We don't have the AdAttributionKit implemented. It sounds like it might be related to that instead? Thank you

SKErrorDomain Code 2 Problem
We are facing a serious issues with in app purchases in our app. We offer 3 IAP: auto-renewable subscription 1W, auto-renewable subscription 1Y, non-consumable one-time purchase (LifeTime access) In our case 90-95% of transactions fail and we mostly get SKError code=2 . Sometime purchase fails several times for the same user so it’s very hard to believe that user intentionally cancels transaction for the same product 4 or even 5 times in a row. It happens regardless iOS version, device model, our app version. We've checked multiple threads with the same issue but coudn't find any solution. We do not offer any promotions, product identifiers are valid... Some users are able to make a purchases without any issues.

Calling AppTransaction in a SpriteKit app
Hello 👋! I'm trying to switch the business model in my app from premium to freemium, gracefully so that existing users aren't bothered. I'd like to provide newly-paywalled content for original paid users. For this to work, I need to use originalAppVersion in AppTransaction, and support iOS 16 at minimum. I've asked about originalAppVersion earlier here. I've upped to iOS 16 already, but I don't exactly know how to call AppTransaction.shared to get originalAppVersion. The issue lies in the fact that my app is based on SpriteKit, so the operative areas I have available to call AppTransaction are ostensibly limited to AppDelegate and GameViewController. I'm using the code from Supporting business model changes by using the app transaction, but if I place it in either GameViewController or AppDelegate, for example in application(_:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:) or viewDidLoad(), I get an error concerning async/await. Now, I understand the gist of it: these are not asynchronous methods. So I'm trying to understand how to do it perhaps outside of these methods. How do I call AppTransaction.shared (and fetch originalAppVersion) in a SpriteKit based app?

Urgent - React Native IAP Issue
While using react-native-iap and being successfully connected with initConnection() I'm not receiving information on subscriptions with requestSubscription(). "Cannot connect to App Store" when trying to purchase subscription using Xcode built app
I'm developing an app and I think I've implemented what I need to in the swift code. However, when I click the Purchase button in my app, I see "Cannot connect to App Store" when the App Store app opens. Attached are images showing how I've configured the Sandbox user. What am I doing wrong? I expect to be able to do a fake purchase to test subscription activation in the app, but it doesn't work.

I had a two CS from customers that they couldn't buy a cookies(IAP). they got an alert "Purchases in this app are already purchased items." I was wondering if anyone has any similar experiences.

In the US, are we required to use IAP in addition to web payments?
In my understanding, with the latest court ruling in the US, iOS apps may decide to support web-based payments for subscriptions and in-app purchases. However, are we allowed to exclusively support web-based payments and not implement StoreKit at all?

However, when I use the Request Test Notification option in App Store Connect, the notification is received successfully. My sandbox server notification URL is configured correctly and publicly accessible. I also call finishTransaction() after purchase. It looks like sandbox purchase notifications are not being sent, even though the test notification works fine.

'Invalid value for purchase intake' error
Hello, I recently saw this error from StoreKit in the Console - 'Invalid value for purchase intake' - while debugging a SKPayment subscription issue (where a valid receipt should be verified and restored, but isn't for one user). I haven't been able to find any documentation about this message and wondered if it was related at all. There were two other logs from StoreKit right before saying: 'Found 3 products in receipt with ID' 'Processing ad attribution purchase intake' Does anyone know what 'invalid value for purchase intake' is referencing? We don't have the AdAttributionKit implemented. It sounds like it might be related to that instead? Thank you

SKErrorDomain Code 2 Problem
We are facing a serious issues with in app purchases in our app. We offer 3 IAP: auto-renewable subscription 1W, auto-renewable subscription 1Y, non-consumable one-time purchase (LifeTime access) In our case 90-95% of transactions fail and we mostly get SKError code=2 . Sometime purchase fails several times for the same user so it’s very hard to believe that user intentionally cancels transaction for the same product 4 or even 5 times in a row. It happens regardless iOS version, device model, our app version. We've checked multiple threads with the same issue but coudn't find any solution. We do not offer any promotions, product identifiers are valid... Some users are able to make a purchases without any issues.

Calling AppTransaction in a SpriteKit app
Hello 👋! I'm trying to switch the business model in my app from premium to freemium, gracefully so that existing users aren't bothered. I'd like to provide newly-paywalled content for original paid users. For this to work, I need to use originalAppVersion in AppTransaction, and support iOS 16 at minimum. I've asked about originalAppVersion earlier here. I've upped to iOS 16 already, but I don't exactly know how to call AppTransaction.shared to get originalAppVersion. The issue lies in the fact that my app is based on SpriteKit, so the operative areas I have available to call AppTransaction are ostensibly limited to AppDelegate and GameViewController. I'm using the code from Supporting business model changes by using the app transaction, but if I place it in either GameViewController or AppDelegate, for example in application(_:didFinishLaunchingWithOptions:) or viewDidLoad(), I get an error concerning async/await. Now, I understand the gist of it: these are not asynchronous methods. So I'm trying to understand how to do it perhaps outside of these methods. How do I call AppTransaction.shared (and fetch originalAppVersion) in a SpriteKit based app?

Urgent - React Native IAP Issue
While using react-native-iap and being successfully connected with initConnection() I'm not receiving information on subscriptions with requestSubscription(). "Cannot connect to App Store" when trying to purchase subscription using Xcode built app
I'm developing an app and I think I've implemented what I need to in the swift code. However, when I click the Purchase button in my app, I see "Cannot connect to App Store" when the App Store app opens. Attached are images showing how I've configured the Sandbox user. What am I doing wrong? I expect to be able to do a fake purchase to test subscription activation in the app, but it doesn't work.
