storefront.countryCode is fixed to USA in iOS 26 beta
Whether using Storefront.current?.countryCode or SKPaymentQueue.default().storefront?.countryCode, both are returning "USA" only. (It used to return the correct country code before the update.) In the sandbox environment, the country code is returned correctly, but in the TestFlight environment, it always returns "USA". There's no mention of this behavior in the beta release notes, so I'm posting it here for visibility.

StoreKit2.Transaction.updates Returning Large Amounts of Historical Transactions, Causing Verification Traffic Surge
Over the past two days, we've observed an unusual spike in requests from some iOS users to our server endpoint responsible for verifying App Store purchase receipts. After sampling and analyzing the data, we found that the cause is related to the behavior of StoreKit2.Transaction.updates. Specifically, when listening for transaction updates, the system returns a large number of historical transactions — some dating back as far as one year. These callbacks are interpreted as "new" transactions, which in turn trigger repeated calls to Apple’s receipt verification servers, leading to an abnormal surge in traffic and putting pressure on our backend services. This behavior is ongoing and is something we've never encountered in our previous experience. It appears to be outside of expected behavior, and we suspect it may be due to some kind of abnormality or unintended usage scenario. We would appreciate guidance on the following: Is this a known behavior or issue with StoreKit2? Are there specific device states or conditions that could cause the system to emit historical transactions in bulk? Are there any recommended practices for mitigating or filtering such transaction floods? We have attached logs for reference. SubscriptionStoreView - Restoring Subscriptions
I'm using code similar to the following to conditionally show the SubscriptionStoreView and the .storeButton(.visible, for: .restorePurchases) modifier is used to allow the user to restore an existing subscription. How can I listen for events that would allow me to close this view once the subscription is restored? The .onInAppPurchaseCompletion closure does not handle this and it also appears that listening for results in Transaction.currentEntitlements also doesn't handle the fact that a subscription is restored. Any guidance on how to determine if the subscription has been restored would be greatly appreciated. Does SubscriptionStoreView .storeButton(for:.policies) work?
I've added .storeButton(.visible, for:.policies) to my SubscriptionStoreView, and the buttons do appear, but when I tap on them I get a sheet that just says "Terms of Service Unavailable / Somethng went wrong. Try Again.". (similar for Privacy Policy). Is this expected in development? Will these start working correctly in production? (and, more importantly, in App Review?) The docs say that these use the values (i.e. URLs) set in App Store Connect, but that I can override those. This is a new app. Is that wrong, do I need to set the URLs explicitly? Edited to add: the console reports: Failed to fetch terms of service and privacy policy: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1011 "(null)"

In-app purchase for auto-renewals subscription for sandbox
Dear Apple Support Team, We are currently implementing auto-renewable subscriptions in our iOS app and are testing the integration using the sandbox environment. On the iOS app side, the in-app purchase flow completes successfully and displays a "Purchase Successful" message. However, we are not receiving any server notification callbacks on our configured App Store Server Notifications (Sandbox) webhook URL. For your reference, the webhook URL we have set in App Store Connect (Sandbox) is: https://9c0f-182-79-123-254.ngrok-free.app/ios/webhook Despite successfully completing a subscription purchase in the sandbox, there is no evidence that the webhook is being triggered. We would appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue or confirming if there are any additional configurations or steps required on our end.

Different transaction IDs for the same purchase between SKPaymentTransaction and receipt latest_receipt_info
Hello, I am investigating a case where two different transaction IDs appear to refer to the same purchase, and I would like clarification on whether this behavior is expected. Additional context StoreKit version: StoreKit 1 (SKPaymentTransaction) Environment: Production Product type: Auto-renewable subscription Transaction sources The values are obtained from the following APIs: transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/skpaymentqueue receipt_data from the App Store receipt https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/bundle/appstorereceipturl Observed behavior After an In-App Purchase completes, the app receives: a transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction the corresponding receipt_data for the purchase When inspecting the receipt, the transaction_id inside latest_receipt_info differs from the transaction_id received directly from the purchase transaction. For clarity: A = transaction_id received from the purchase flow (SKPaymentTransaction) A' = transaction_id found in receipt_data.latest_receipt_info The two values are different, but they differ only by 1. Additional observation The original_transaction_id for A and A' is identical, which suggests that both transaction IDs belong to the same subscription purchase chain. Pattern observation on the ID difference We have observed that the difference between A and A' is consistently exactly 1 (i.e., A' = A + 1) across multiple transactions, not just a single case. This appears to be a reproducible pattern rather than a coincidence. This observation raises an additional question (Question 6 below). API verification When calling: GET /inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId} Both A and A' return what appears to be the same purchase record. The response data is effectively identical except for the transactionId field. However, when calling: GET /inApps/v2/history/{transactionId} A does not appear in the transaction history only A' appears in the history response Questions If A does not appear in transaction history, where does this transaction ID originate from? Why does Get Transaction Info (/inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId}) return a valid response for A even though it is not present in the transaction history? Why do A and A' both resolve to what appears to be the same purchase? In this situation, which transaction ID should be treated as the canonical transaction ID for server-side validation? Is this difference related to how StoreKit 1 (SKPaymentTransaction) and the App Store Server API represent transactions? Is the consistent off-by-one difference between the transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction and the one recorded in latest_receipt_info an intentional behavior of StoreKit 1's internal transaction ID assignment? Specifically, we are wondering whether StoreKit 1 applies some form of internal offset when delivering the transaction ID to the client, while the App Store server records a different (adjacent) ID in the receipt. If so, is this documented anywhere? Note We are currently in the process of migrating to StoreKit 2, but this behavior was observed while investigating our existing StoreKit 1 implementation. Any clarification would help us better understand the correct transaction model during the migration.

StoreKit v2: autoRenewStatus returns 0 right after purchase on iOS 26.1
Hi everyone, I’m implementing subscriptions using StoreKit v2, and I’ve noticed a behavior change starting with iOS 26.1. I’d like to ask if anyone else has experienced the same issue. ■ Issue Immediately after purchasing a new subscription, the value of auto_renew_status (or autoRenewStatus) returned in the receipt is 0 (auto-renew OFF). This issue occurs on iOS 26.1. On iOS 26.0 and earlier, the same parameter returned 1 (auto-renew ON) right after purchase. Sometimes, after executing a “restore” operation, the value changes to 1 later. Since we’ve been using this parameter to determine whether a user’s subscription is active or not, the current behavior is causing some difficulties on our end. ■ Questions Has anyone else observed this issue (where autoRenewStatus is 0 immediately after purchase on iOS 26.1 or later)? How are you handling or working around this behavior in your implementation? If autoRenewStatus is unreliable, we’re considering determining the subscription state based on receipt fields instead. Would this approach be reasonable? "status" is 1 (indicates active subscription) "expire_time" is in the future "deleted_at" is null If anyone has encountered the same behavior or knows of any Apple-recommended implementation approach, I’d really appreciate your insights. StoreKit: No products returned in Sandbox + "This item is not available" in "initiate transaction"
Hi, my app was rejected because IAP were not present in the app. I followed guidelines more carefully and filled all buisness detail since then. And now I have: StoreKit Configuration in XCode is set to None, Products (subscription + consumable product) are already approved (from the previous review) Paid Apps Agreement - active Bank account - active Tax forms - active Compliance - active Problems: When trying to test it with TestFlight + sandbox account, StoreKit is returning zero products. When trying to check my products by "initiate transaction" from Sandbox App Store manage dashboard I am getting an error "This item is not available" I am totally stuck and don't know what to process next. Unknown Error when Trying to Add New Offer Codes
Hi there! Whenever I try to add a new Offer Code for my app's subscription, I get an unknown error. When I get to the last step of the "Create Offer for Codes" flow, I get an error that error reads "An error has occurred. Try again later." I have been getting this same error for over a week now, so any help figuring out how to add new offer codes would be greatly appreciated!

Cannot get public keys for jwks verification
I am using the public url https://api.storekit-sandbox.itunes.apple.com/inApps/v1/notifications/jwsPublicKeys to get the jwks keys to verify the signed payload for store kit payments. StoreKit returning 0 products (IAPError: storekit_no_response)
Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue where StoreKit is returning 0 products from the App Store, even though my auto-renewable subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect. When calling queryProductDetails using Flutter’s in_app_purchase package (which uses StoreKit under the hood), StoreKit reports success but returns an empty list. The logs show the following error: IAPError(code: storekit_no_response, source: app_store, message: "StoreKit: Failed to get response from platform.") InAppPurchase.isAvailable() returns true, but no product details are received. Already verified: • Subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect • Product identifiers in the app match those in App Store Connect exactly • In-App Purchase capability is enabled in Xcode • Paid Applications Agreement, banking, and tax details are active and complete • Using the latest version of the Flutter in_app_purchase package StoreKit should normally return the list of available products in the production environment, but it consistently returns an empty array along with the “storekit_no_response” error. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found any potential causes for StoreKit failing to return products in the production environment? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unable to sign in to Sandbox Apple Account on Simulator
I am unable to sign in to a Sandbox Apple Account, where this issue occurs only via Simulator. Under Settings > Developer, I tap "Sign In" under Sandbox Apple Account. I enter my account credentials, and after bringing me back to the Developer page, the Sign In button briefly appears as disabled, before being re-enabled, without signing in to the account. (The account credentials are also recognized as correct, as I will receive an alert popup if incorrect.) See screenshots below: After signing in, Sign In button appears disabled... ... then is re-enabled without actually signing in to the account. I have now tried setting up multiple sandbox accounts via App Store Connect with various permutations (no confirmation of Apple Account email, confirming Apple Account email, logging in to iCloud and accepting terms of service), running different device simulators, running simulators on different Mac computers... none of which yield a different result. By contrast, I can sign in to the Sandbox Apple Account without issue on a physical device. The problem occurs only via Simulator.

Or can I test subscriptions without submitting a new build to App Review? How to Simulate Subscription Cancellation with Products.storekit in Simulator?
Hi, Currently, instead of using a real device and test account for in-app purchase testing, we are using Products.storekit with the Simulator. Our app offers a subscription plan with a 3-day free trial. We would like to simulate the following test scenarios: User cancels the subscription within the 3-day free trial period. User cancels the subscription after the 3-day free trial period. However, in Xcode, under Debug > StoreKit > Manage Transactions..., we couldn’t find an option to simulate a subscription cancellation. There is an option to refund the purchase, but we believe this is not the same as a cancellation. Do you have any idea how we can simulate these two cases using Products.storekit and the Simulator? SubscriptionStoreView Localization Error
Hello! The localization isn't working when using SubscriptionStoreView. The app hasn't been published yet. The subscription has been created and localization strings have been added. Status - ready to submit. Testing environment: Sandbox When calling SubscriptionStoreView, the debug console shows this error: GenerativeModelsAvailability.Parameters: Initialized with invalid language code: ru-RU. Expected to receive two-letter ISO 639 code. e.g. 'zh' or 'en'. Falling back to: ru Despite this, the subscription interface appears in English when Russian is expected. I don't use any locale setting for ru-RU anywhere in my code. The test device's region is set to Russia, and the language is Russian. Any help would be appreciated.

Unexpected Change in Apple Refund Handling CONSUMPTION_REQUEST - Impact on Subscription App with AI Backend
We offer a 3-day free trial, and our paywall clearly states that users will be charged after the trial ends. However, some users request refunds after the charge - even after fully using our app for days or even weeks. In some cases, refunds are approved despite the users having consumed our AI processing services for up to a month. Since our app relies on backend AI processing, each user session incurs a real cost. To prevent losses, we utilize RevenueCat’s CONSUMPTION_REQUEST system and have set our refundPreference to: "2. You prefer that Apple declines the refund". Until recently, Apple typically respected this preference, and 90% of refund requests were declined as intended. However, starting about a week ago, we observed a sudden reversal: Apple is now approving around 90% of refund requests, despite our refund preference. As a result, we are operating at a loss and have had to halt both our marketing campaigns and our 3-day free trial. We’re trying to understand whether this shift is due to a change in Apple’s refund policy, or if we need to handle CONSUMPTION_REQUEST differently on our end. Has anyone else experienced similar changes? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Incorrect storefront country code
Both the legacy StoreKit API and the new StoreKit 2 API return the incorrect storefront countryCode. My actual Apple ID region is Germany, and my Sandbox test user is set to France, yet the SDK consistently returns USA. Expected Results: The returned storefront countryCode should reflect the correct region - sandbox user region if signed in and real user region if not signed in with sandbox). Actual Results: Returned country code is USA with both SKPaymentQueue.default().storefront?.countryCode and await Storefront.current?.countryCode. Signing out/in, device reboot and even reset do not help, I'm stuck with USA storefront.

restoreCompletedTransactions not working on iOS 26
I use [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] restoreCompletedTransactions]. Works on my App which is in the store (compiled pre-iOS 26). If I compile the same App now, same codebase with Xcode Version 26.0, restore does not work. Nothing happens. Tested on real device (iOS 26). Documentation says its deprecated, but my deployment target is iOS 12. Anyone has similar issues? Any recommendations?

I've added .storeButton(.visible, for:.policies) to my SubscriptionStoreView, and the buttons do appear, but when I tap on them I get a sheet that just says "Terms of Service Unavailable / Somethng went wrong. Try Again.". (similar for Privacy Policy). Is this expected in development? Will these start working correctly in production? (and, more importantly, in App Review?) The docs say that these use the values (i.e. URLs) set in App Store Connect, but that I can override those. This is a new app. Is that wrong, do I need to set the URLs explicitly? Edited to add: the console reports: Failed to fetch terms of service and privacy policy: Error Domain=NSURLErrorDomain Code=-1011 "(null)"

In-app purchase for auto-renewals subscription for sandbox
Dear Apple Support Team, We are currently implementing auto-renewable subscriptions in our iOS app and are testing the integration using the sandbox environment. On the iOS app side, the in-app purchase flow completes successfully and displays a "Purchase Successful" message. However, we are not receiving any server notification callbacks on our configured App Store Server Notifications (Sandbox) webhook URL. For your reference, the webhook URL we have set in App Store Connect (Sandbox) is: https://9c0f-182-79-123-254.ngrok-free.app/ios/webhook Despite successfully completing a subscription purchase in the sandbox, there is no evidence that the webhook is being triggered. We would appreciate your guidance in resolving this issue or confirming if there are any additional configurations or steps required on our end.

Different transaction IDs for the same purchase between SKPaymentTransaction and receipt latest_receipt_info
Hello, I am investigating a case where two different transaction IDs appear to refer to the same purchase, and I would like clarification on whether this behavior is expected. Additional context StoreKit version: StoreKit 1 (SKPaymentTransaction) Environment: Production Product type: Auto-renewable subscription Transaction sources The values are obtained from the following APIs: transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction https://developer.apple.com/documentation/storekit/skpaymentqueue receipt_data from the App Store receipt https://developer.apple.com/documentation/foundation/bundle/appstorereceipturl Observed behavior After an In-App Purchase completes, the app receives: a transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction the corresponding receipt_data for the purchase When inspecting the receipt, the transaction_id inside latest_receipt_info differs from the transaction_id received directly from the purchase transaction. For clarity: A = transaction_id received from the purchase flow (SKPaymentTransaction) A' = transaction_id found in receipt_data.latest_receipt_info The two values are different, but they differ only by 1. Additional observation The original_transaction_id for A and A' is identical, which suggests that both transaction IDs belong to the same subscription purchase chain. Pattern observation on the ID difference We have observed that the difference between A and A' is consistently exactly 1 (i.e., A' = A + 1) across multiple transactions, not just a single case. This appears to be a reproducible pattern rather than a coincidence. This observation raises an additional question (Question 6 below). API verification When calling: GET /inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId} Both A and A' return what appears to be the same purchase record. The response data is effectively identical except for the transactionId field. However, when calling: GET /inApps/v2/history/{transactionId} A does not appear in the transaction history only A' appears in the history response Questions If A does not appear in transaction history, where does this transaction ID originate from? Why does Get Transaction Info (/inApps/v1/transactions/{transactionId}) return a valid response for A even though it is not present in the transaction history? Why do A and A' both resolve to what appears to be the same purchase? In this situation, which transaction ID should be treated as the canonical transaction ID for server-side validation? Is this difference related to how StoreKit 1 (SKPaymentTransaction) and the App Store Server API represent transactions? Is the consistent off-by-one difference between the transaction_id from SKPaymentTransaction and the one recorded in latest_receipt_info an intentional behavior of StoreKit 1's internal transaction ID assignment? Specifically, we are wondering whether StoreKit 1 applies some form of internal offset when delivering the transaction ID to the client, while the App Store server records a different (adjacent) ID in the receipt. If so, is this documented anywhere? Note We are currently in the process of migrating to StoreKit 2, but this behavior was observed while investigating our existing StoreKit 1 implementation. Any clarification would help us better understand the correct transaction model during the migration.

StoreKit v2: autoRenewStatus returns 0 right after purchase on iOS 26.1
Hi everyone, I’m implementing subscriptions using StoreKit v2, and I’ve noticed a behavior change starting with iOS 26.1. I’d like to ask if anyone else has experienced the same issue. ■ Issue Immediately after purchasing a new subscription, the value of auto_renew_status (or autoRenewStatus) returned in the receipt is 0 (auto-renew OFF). This issue occurs on iOS 26.1. On iOS 26.0 and earlier, the same parameter returned 1 (auto-renew ON) right after purchase. Sometimes, after executing a “restore” operation, the value changes to 1 later. Since we’ve been using this parameter to determine whether a user’s subscription is active or not, the current behavior is causing some difficulties on our end. ■ Questions Has anyone else observed this issue (where autoRenewStatus is 0 immediately after purchase on iOS 26.1 or later)? How are you handling or working around this behavior in your implementation? If autoRenewStatus is unreliable, we’re considering determining the subscription state based on receipt fields instead. Would this approach be reasonable? "status" is 1 (indicates active subscription) "expire_time" is in the future "deleted_at" is null If anyone has encountered the same behavior or knows of any Apple-recommended implementation approach, I’d really appreciate your insights. StoreKit: No products returned in Sandbox + "This item is not available" in "initiate transaction"
Hi, my app was rejected because IAP were not present in the app. I followed guidelines more carefully and filled all buisness detail since then. And now I have: StoreKit Configuration in XCode is set to None, Products (subscription + consumable product) are already approved (from the previous review) Paid Apps Agreement - active Bank account - active Tax forms - active Compliance - active Problems: When trying to test it with TestFlight + sandbox account, StoreKit is returning zero products. When trying to check my products by "initiate transaction" from Sandbox App Store manage dashboard I am getting an error "This item is not available" I am totally stuck and don't know what to process next. Unknown Error when Trying to Add New Offer Codes
Hi there! Whenever I try to add a new Offer Code for my app's subscription, I get an unknown error. When I get to the last step of the "Create Offer for Codes" flow, I get an error that error reads "An error has occurred. Try again later." I have been getting this same error for over a week now, so any help figuring out how to add new offer codes would be greatly appreciated!

Cannot get public keys for jwks verification

StoreKit returning 0 products (IAPError: storekit_no_response)
Hi everyone, I’m facing an issue where StoreKit is returning 0 products from the App Store, even though my auto-renewable subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect. When calling queryProductDetails using Flutter’s in_app_purchase package (which uses StoreKit under the hood), StoreKit reports success but returns an empty list. The logs show the following error: IAPError(code: storekit_no_response, source: app_store, message: "StoreKit: Failed to get response from platform.") InAppPurchase.isAvailable() returns true, but no product details are received. Already verified: • Subscriptions are approved in App Store Connect • Product identifiers in the app match those in App Store Connect exactly • In-App Purchase capability is enabled in Xcode • Paid Applications Agreement, banking, and tax details are active and complete • Using the latest version of the Flutter in_app_purchase package StoreKit should normally return the list of available products in the production environment, but it consistently returns an empty array along with the “storekit_no_response” error. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found any potential causes for StoreKit failing to return products in the production environment? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Unable to sign in to Sandbox Apple Account on Simulator
I am unable to sign in to a Sandbox Apple Account, where this issue occurs only via Simulator. Under Settings > Developer, I tap "Sign In" under Sandbox Apple Account. I enter my account credentials, and after bringing me back to the Developer page, the Sign In button briefly appears as disabled, before being re-enabled, without signing in to the account. (The account credentials are also recognized as correct, as I will receive an alert popup if incorrect.) See screenshots below: After signing in, Sign In button appears disabled... ... then is re-enabled without actually signing in to the account. I have now tried setting up multiple sandbox accounts via App Store Connect with various permutations (no confirmation of Apple Account email, confirming Apple Account email, logging in to iCloud and accepting terms of service), running different device simulators, running simulators on different Mac computers... none of which yield a different result. By contrast, I can sign in to the Sandbox Apple Account without issue on a physical device. The problem occurs only via Simulator.

How to Simulate Subscription Cancellation with Products.storekit in Simulator?
Hi, Currently, instead of using a real device and test account for in-app purchase testing, we are using Products.storekit with the Simulator. Our app offers a subscription plan with a 3-day free trial. We would like to simulate the following test scenarios: User cancels the subscription within the 3-day free trial period. User cancels the subscription after the 3-day free trial period. However, in Xcode, under Debug > StoreKit > Manage Transactions..., we couldn’t find an option to simulate a subscription cancellation. There is an option to refund the purchase, but we believe this is not the same as a cancellation. Do you have any idea how we can simulate these two cases using Products.storekit and the Simulator? SubscriptionStoreView Localization Error
Hello! The localization isn't working when using SubscriptionStoreView. The app hasn't been published yet. The subscription has been created and localization strings have been added. Status - ready to submit. Testing environment: Sandbox When calling SubscriptionStoreView, the debug console shows this error: GenerativeModelsAvailability.Parameters: Initialized with invalid language code: ru-RU. Expected to receive two-letter ISO 639 code. e.g. 'zh' or 'en'. Falling back to: ru Despite this, the subscription interface appears in English when Russian is expected. I don't use any locale setting for ru-RU anywhere in my code. The test device's region is set to Russia, and the language is Russian. Any help would be appreciated.

Unexpected Change in Apple Refund Handling CONSUMPTION_REQUEST - Impact on Subscription App with AI Backend
We offer a 3-day free trial, and our paywall clearly states that users will be charged after the trial ends. However, some users request refunds after the charge - even after fully using our app for days or even weeks. In some cases, refunds are approved despite the users having consumed our AI processing services for up to a month. Since our app relies on backend AI processing, each user session incurs a real cost. To prevent losses, we utilize RevenueCat’s CONSUMPTION_REQUEST system and have set our refundPreference to: "2. You prefer that Apple declines the refund". Until recently, Apple typically respected this preference, and 90% of refund requests were declined as intended. However, starting about a week ago, we observed a sudden reversal: Apple is now approving around 90% of refund requests, despite our refund preference. As a result, we are operating at a loss and have had to halt both our marketing campaigns and our 3-day free trial. We’re trying to understand whether this shift is due to a change in Apple’s refund policy, or if we need to handle CONSUMPTION_REQUEST differently on our end. Has anyone else experienced similar changes? Any insights would be greatly appreciated.

Incorrect storefront country code
Both the legacy StoreKit API and the new StoreKit 2 API return the incorrect storefront countryCode. My actual Apple ID region is Germany, and my Sandbox test user is set to France, yet the SDK consistently returns USA. Expected Results: The returned storefront countryCode should reflect the correct region - sandbox user region if signed in and real user region if not signed in with sandbox). Actual Results: Returned country code is USA with both SKPaymentQueue.default().storefront?.countryCode and await Storefront.current?.countryCode. Signing out/in, device reboot and even reset do not help, I'm stuck with USA storefront.

restoreCompletedTransactions not working on iOS 26
I use [[SKPaymentQueue defaultQueue] restoreCompletedTransactions]. Works on my App which is in the store (compiled pre-iOS 26). If I compile the same App now, same codebase with Xcode Version 26.0, restore does not work. Nothing happens. Tested on real device (iOS 26). Documentation says its deprecated, but my deployment target is iOS 12. Anyone has similar issues? Any recommendations?
