Question: Does CXCallDirectoryProvider affect outgoing call UI? (inconsistent behavior after iOS update)Question: Does CXCallDirectoryProvider affect outgoing call UI? (inconsistent behavior after iOS update)
Hello Apple Developer Technical Support team, We have an iOS app that provides caller identification via a Call Directory extension (CXCallDirectoryProvider). Our extension provides identification entries (phone number → label), and users enable it in Settings > Phone > Call Blocking & Identification. We would like to confirm whether Call Directory is used only for incoming calls, and understand why the outgoing call UI sometimes shows labels. Observed behavior Incoming calls: After a user logs in again (which triggers a server sync and then reloads the Call Directory extension), the caller label is shown correctly on the incoming call screen for matching numbers. Outgoing calls: In general, the outgoing call screen often shows only the phone number (no label), even when the same number exists in our identification entries and the extension is enabled. However, on some devices, the outgoing call screen does show a label even when the number is not saved in the local Contacts app. In at least one customer case, the outgoing label behavior changed after an iOS update: before updating iOS, labels were not shown on outgoing calls; after updating iOS, labels started appearing (with no changes in our app settings/config). Questions Is the Phone app expected to consult Call Directory identification entries only for incoming calls (caller ID), and not for outgoing call UI? If labels can appear on outgoing calls, what are the possible sources and rules (e.g., Recents cache, carrier Name Display/CNAM, other system caches), and is any of that behavior documented? Are there known iOS version changes or issues that could explain “outgoing label not shown” becoming “outgoing label shown” after an OS update? We can provide: A minimal repro project, steps to reproduce, and exact iOS versions/devices Screenshots/video sysdiagnose / device logs (please advise what log types are most useful) Thank you,

unable to find module dependency : 'minizip'
I downloaded Xcode Beta 26 and built the POS code repository project. However, an error appeared: unable to find the module dependency 'minizip'. No changes have been made to the repository since upgrading to iOS 18.0. Is this a new issue with Xcode 26, and what are the resolution steps?

Web Push Provisioning
I am attempting to add credit cards to Apple Wallet using Web Push Provisioning through our web application and have not been able to find any documentation or integration guide for this. Apple has provided me with In-App provisioning documentation, but this is geared toward mobile development which we are not doing. Does anyone have experience setting up Web Push Provisioning for Apple Wallet that can point me in the right direction for documentation/integration guides?

Apple developer account
Hi Community! I have enrolled for an Apple Developer Account. Only 4 hours left until the 48-hour deadline runs out. On the account page it says pending in orange when I click on my name, but it also says that I need to complete payment. I have received an invoice and receipt from Apple confirming that it’s paid, so I’m not planning to pay again. Does this sound like everything is correct and I can just look forward to it, or does it sound like something is wrong? From people’s experience here, does it often take more than 48 hours? Petter

Feedback for the submission form
Hello!! I wasn't able to find a feedback form anywhere so I'm hoping this could reach the team that made the submission form for the challenge. I was really hoping the form could save our progress. Working on the longer response questions does take time, and it's incredibly frustrating when the site tends to reload, losing all progress and causing me to copy everything over again.

Apple, please protect developers' legitimate rights.
As developers of an app with a free basic version and a paid premium version, we recently received a malicious review on our premium app. The review falsely accused our app of being a scam and baselessly claimed it was error-ridden. This comment is clearly malicious and designed to dissuade other users from purchasing our app. The most critical point is that we haven’t had any sales records in that region recently. In response to this review, we promptly contacted Apple Support but received only a generic, templated response stating that no action would be taken. We followed up with another complaint about the review, but it was still dismissed. Apple Support provided a link to their guidelines, and within those guidelines, we found specific clauses that Apple should act upon in cases like this. We sent another email pointing this out, but we’ve received no response since. It feels like developers are left defenseless against such malicious reviews. When we face these attacks, there’s no fair judgment, and Apple doesn’t uphold the very policies it has set to protect developers’ rights. If this continues, how can developers trust this platform to safeguard their basic interests?

SWİFT STUDENT CHALLANGE iOS vers
I am currently developing my submission for the Swift Student Challenge 2026. My project focuses on financial literacy for children ("Canteen Hero"), and I want to ensure it runs flawlessly during the judging process. I have two specific questions regarding the environment: Which iOS/iPadOS version do judges typically use for testing? Should I assume they will be using the latest stable release (e.g., iOS 19/iPadOS 19) or a specific beta version? Device Compatibility: Is it a requirement to design the app for all previous iOS versions (backward compatibility), or is it acceptable to target only the latest APIs (iOS 18/19+) to utilize modern features like SwiftData and the latest SwiftUI animations? Thank you for your guidance!

Unable to RENEW Developer Account - no "Renew" button
After checking the forum, it's clear that Apple has a MAJOR ONGOING PROBLEM here. We are far from the only company experiencing this, and it has been a problem for years. Apple, please FIX THIS! What's the problem? We receive an email reminding us to renew our developer account. All of Apple's instructions to renew do not work (with no explanation), and yet we are threatened with removal of our apps if we do not renew in time. Firstly, it should be unnecessary for us to manually renew because we registered a valid credit card to auto-renew. It worked last year, and the same credit card continues to be valid. Secondly, when we try to manually renew, there is no "Renew" button appearing anywhere, contrary to Apple's instructions. It's not in the Developer app (Mac or iOS), and it does not appear in the Developer account website. We now have only 16 days left until Apple kicks our app out of the App Store. @APPLE: We are not alone. Lots of your customers have the same problem, as reported on this forum for multiple years. This problem threatens the livelihoods of many people. Please fix this! Thank you.

APPLE STOCKS
Hi I was thinking, wouldn’t it be awesome if Apple had a stock app? I know, it might sound crazy, but honestly, it would be a fantastic addition to their finance section! Imagine having a wallet, Apple credit card, and a stock app all in one place. In my opinion, that could totally revolutionize everything!

Swift Student Challenge
Hey, I am looking to participate in the upcoming SSC 2026. I am confused whether I am allowed to submit an idea which is for watchOS. I know the fact that submission would be xcode project and playground correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know, we can develop prototypes for watch on playground. If anyone of you knows about this, please let me know!

App Switcher briefly flashes or disappears on iPadOS 26.0.1
I’m experiencing a strange issue with the App Switcher on my iPad. When I swipe up from the bottom to open the App Switcher, the apps that should be running sometimes don’t appear — they briefly flash for a split second and then disappear. The App Switcher itself stays open, but it shows no app cards. Here are some details: Device: iPad Pro (11-inch, 2nd generation) iPadOS version: 26.0.1 Reproducibility: Happens intermittently Steps to reproduce: Open several apps. Swipe up from the bottom and pause to show the App Switcher. Sometimes, the app cards flash for a moment and then disappear, leaving the App Switcher empty. Expected behavior: The App Switcher should display all running apps consistently. Actual behavior: The App Switcher appears, but the app cards briefly flash and disappear, leaving a blank screen. I’ve seen a few similar reports on the Apple Support Community, but I’m not sure if this is a known issue in iPadOS 26.0.1. Has anyone else encountered this problem? Any confirmations or workarounds would be appreciated. Thank you in advance!

The Proliferation of DarkSword: iOS Exploit Chain Adopted by Multiple Threat Actors
Dear Team, Can you please check and confirm for this security Google Threat Intelligence Group (GTIG) has identified a new iOS full-chain exploit that leveraged multiple zero-day vulnerabilities to fully compromise devices. Based on toolmarks in recovered payloads, we believe the exploit chain to be called DarkSword. Since at least November 2025, GTIG has observed multiple commercial surveillance vendors and suspected state-sponsored actors utilizing DarkSword in distinct campaigns. These threat actors have deployed the exploit chain against targets in Saudi Arabia, Turkey, Malaysia, and Ukraine. https://cloud.google.com/blog/topics/threat-intelligence/darksword-ios-exploit-chain?hl=en

Can I submit the app I submitted to the app store to SSC at the same time?
Hi, I recently built an app and I’m planning to publish it on the App Store. Since the Swift Student Challenge (SSC) is coming up, I’m also considering submitting the same project by converting it into a Swift Playground (with some content trimmed to meet the rules). I believe both I and the project are eligible. My question: if I publish the app on the App Store first and then submit it to SSC, could that violate the rules or lead to rejection? I also have a concern: because I’m a minor, Apple requires the App Store developer name to be my mother’s. However, the app was entirely developed by me. my mother and anyone else did not participate(My mother can't even use a computer.). I’m worried this might create confusion and make judges think I copied someone else’s work, which I did not. Would you recommend publishing on the App Store now, waiting until after SSC, or taking a different approach? Thank you.
