Delays & No Communication on Apple Developer Enrollment

I enrolled in the Apple Developer program this past Monday, five days ago. The $99 charge was processed successfully. According to the Apple Developer portal, the account can take up to 48 hours to be provisioned. It has now been well beyond that, and I've received no communication from Apple Developer about what's going on. I filed a support ticket yesterday morning and have gotten no response.

Has anyone else experienced these delays? Perhaps it's gotten worse in recent months as AI has made it so easy to develop? I have read elsewhere that the reason for this delay is an internal siloing between developer and user accounts. I get that Apple might need to put some gatekeeping in place for developer accounts, but this amount of delay seems ridiculous, and the lack of communication is really frustrating.

I'm an indie developer trying to sell my products. The lack of support from Apple is costing me money with each day of delay. Anyone have similar experiences or advice on speeding up the process?
